You are making this all look dangerously easy. Got me thinking, “I can do this” and hubby screaming “You can drive a truck into the wall too, doesn’t mean you should” 😂😂😂😂
Taping tip: drop each piece of tape in a bucket of water while you apply compound over the seam and then pull the tape through your fingers to squeegee off the excess water. Then apply tape as normal with a thin layer of compound. This will get rid of any tape bubbling issues (it sucks moisture from the compound otherwise). That is going to be an awesome shaping bay!
@@juanolvera8567 The tape reinforces the joints so they don't crack. It's just paper, there is no adhesive. You just embed it in compound. But it is a 3 step process. 1) thin layer to embed tape 2) fill layer 3) finish coat. If the 3 layers are done well, you hardly need to sand anything, just a wipe with a damp scotch brite pad is all I usually need. I usually run a trowel over the fill coat before the finish just to nick off any high points that would cause buildup...
Wow! Your space will be so nice you won't want to mess it up working in it! (LOL)! Very nice! Won't be long until you're in there making more beautiful projects. I found a drywall sanding kit at Home Depot that consisted of a bucket, some hose, sanding pad and some fittings. You assembled the fittings to the bucket lid, filled the bucket halfway with water and connected a short length of hose from one fitting in the bucket lid to your shop vac. The long hose connected to the sanding pad stuck down below the surface of the water so when you turned on the shop vac the dust wound up in the water. Of course, you had to do something with the slurry but a lot less mess. I used it to suck up sanding dust from paint and body work on cars. Nice work as always!
Hola disculpa que te moleste te hago dos consultas como se llama los tipos de telgopores que usaste y como se llaman los adhesivos que usaste tanto la espuma como el de la pistola gracias
Weird to see the angle knife. I did specialty sheetrock finishing for 8 years as my first job and never saw anyone use one 😂. Or anyone use angle tape for corner-bead. If it works, though🤷🏻♂️

I'm a bit curious, and hope you don't mind me asking, but what is the tape for?

Wow good 👍😊
Yo, Dude! That totally smacks of effort....
Thin that compound down with some water. Spreads way smoother and better for taping.
Can't wait for part 6
good one dude
Man you make that mudding look so easy. Applied pressure gets me every time 😅
Nice job on the mudding
丁寧な仕事ぶりが素晴らしいね!
Going over with a wet sponge oppose sanding is a much cleaner and smoother way. I think they're in the mudding bucket instructions.
I learn a lot from this video thank you
I can’t wait for the next video

Hello. How about the durability of the container? Is it still good after 10 years?
if protected from the elements it will. rust is the biggest issue
@@bonezed how would one protect the container from the elements if it’s stored outside?

Wears mask while sanding, excellent. Doesn't wear mask while sweeping, not so excellent.

This must have been the worst part of the whole project, looks so labour-intensive. Great work!
May I know the paper you seal the gap when mudding is what type of sticker?

This video is very interesting and comfortable, but I just don't know what he is doing.
What's the name of the white tape?
When do I add the electrical and mini split?
That's what I am wondering should of been the 2nd video.
Not a builder here. Why does he need to place tape on the vertical gaps he has already plastered? Is it supposed to help with the finish?
I thought if you bought a refrigerated cabinet, may be you could save a lot of time and effort.
