Thank you for this tutorial. I just bought this label printer and look forward to trying it. I doubt I could figure this out myself, so I appreciate your detailed explanations!
I still use this label printer every day. It has been such a valuable tool for my business and in my studio. I’m so glad that this video was helpful, because I have really loved this little printer!
Oh, that’s wonderful! I know this is an older video, but I still use this little printer almost everyday for my studio and my business. I hope you love it! {I want a second one in purple just so I don’t have to switch out the label sizes I use most 😂🤷🏻♀️…yep, I’m that ridiculous!}
My M110 will print smaller size labels just fine. I use the LabelLife Software they recommend-on my laptop. When I try to print 1” X 2” labels, it just sits there and will not print! Help !
There is no ink and this kind of printer, because it is a thermal printer. I have no idea how this technology works, I just know that it does. 😂🤷🏻♀️ It uses some kind of thermal imaging to apply the image to the paper or label, which is why it’s only available in black print. That’s one of the reasons I love these kinds of printers, because I never have to mess with ink!
@@dchocolate44 YES! The app comes with lots of little images, but you can also import your own photos or graphics. This is an older video, and since I recorded this one, I’ve used the printer almost daily for my personal projects and home business, and I still haven’t used all of its features. I can tell you on the screen where you design your label, you can select to add an “Icon”, which is their large gallery of black & white graphic images. You can also add a “Picture”, which opens your photo gallery. Of course the photo you import will be black & white, but you can also use a simple logo, as long as it has been saved in your photo album. I know this information comes late, but I hope you find it helpful! I have updated the links in the description to include newer colors and the newer model, along with some labels in various sizes. Happy printing! ☺️
@@MelanieBsCreativeStudio Hi I was wondering if you can print multiple different labels all at once or if u have to change the details each time and print the labels one by one. Eg if I want to print 5 labels for different items all at once, each label containing different details is there a way?
Hi Melanie I love your channel and thank you for making contents like this it really helps small business like myself. I invested in this item after following on your channel, so thank you.😇 I would like to request if its possible could you do a content on how to make barcodes to use on products.....it seems like there's not much content covering this. I would be so grateful if you could share some ideas on this matter.....🥰🥰
@@no-nameSt ohhh, I don’t know how I missed this comment, and I’m so sorry! I actually didn’t use this printer for barcodes, but I ended up purchasing the Phomemo Bluetooth Thermal Label Printer for shipping to print postage, and I used that one for printing barcodes. I’ll have to see if I can remember how to do that with the larger one, because it may not be that much different. I’m sure it isn’t difficult, but unfortunately by now you have probably figured out a way to get yours done 🥴🫣. amzn.to/3ZS0a21
Great question, so I went to look it up on Amazon. The only thing I found for this particular model was the adhesive-backed labels. I did find that this company, Phomemo, had two mini printer models, the M04S and M04AS, that take a non-adhesive thermal paper. Those prints 2-4” wide. They also had a larger model that could use thermal paper, as well. The M832 model appears to print as large as an 8.5 x 11”. I’ll put the links for those items in the description below the video, because I’m not allowed to share them here. ☺️
@ediths.q.3097 no problem! I posted those products and links if you need them. They are under the first set of printers & labels. Have a great day & weekend!
@@patriciagraham4786 well, this is an extremely delayed response, since for some reason my RUclips notifications didn’t come through a couple of years ago. It never hurts to respond though in case you did not get this question answered. Most of the label materials are waterproof, which I love! I use a larger Phomemo Bluetooth Label Printer for printing all of my customer shipping labels, because I know that rain will not disturb the ink whatsoever if they get wet. Thermal ink does not run, but oils will remove it. Over the years of having this printer, I have been using it for labeling my handmade acrylic paints, because I don’t worry about customers who might have wet hands or a wet paint brush smearing the ink on the label. However, when I use any labels on my essential oil bottles or facial oil bottles, I will notice over time with handling, the ink in those labels will begin to smear off. Although I know this information comes late, I hope you still find it very helpful in making a decision on purchasing one of these little super handy label printers. I have recently updated the links in the description to include several new colors and the newer model of this printer, along with lots of label sizes and options. Thank you for watching and commenting! 🥰
Can you use an iPad with this? I make soap so I’m looking for something small and compact to make soap labels plus does it come with a slightly larger size label than the one you used?
Hi, I wonder why you have to rotate the characters. When I select 0 degrees and want to print horizontally, I would put the width (longest) 40mm and height (shortest) 30mm. In this case, you can edit horizontally and won't have to rotate every characters or logos. Let me know if it works. :)
What I do to find labels that are compatible with this printer is I search for “Phomemo labels” on Amazon or Temu or wherever you’re shopping. Then I’ll double-check the description of the product listing to make sure they’re compatible with the particular model I’m using. I have purchased off namebrand of labels for my Phomemo printers. {Btw, I now have three different thermal printers them.}
There’s probably a million things you could do with this little printer that I may not ever be able to cover, but I still use this every single day. What exactly are you trying to do with it? I purchased barcode labels, but I haven’t had a chance to print my barcodes out yet. That may be something I’m not able to help you with.
Out in the field wire tagging tends to become unreadable at times, this is a game changer! I have the same printer and color and it is worth every cent👀great vid😎
I’ve actually been using the heck out of this little “girl” 😂 again lately. I purchased the mini labels that are sets of two side-by-side {20mm x 10mm), and I’m using those for color #/color name labels for new handmade paints I just designed in small 6ml jars. They are perfect! This prints them SO FAST that I can have 100 labels in seconds. The versatility of this printer is just astounding, and I’ve been using it for how many years now…? Glad to see you’ve found uses for it too!
have you try another brand of label? does it work? is that any protection for third part label? Currently i have niimbot, it checks label roll via RFID if it is original everything is fine but if it is not orginal, it reduces the printing head's power and printer not useful anymore. this RFID has counter it counts and stop printing. Does Phomemo has this limitations?
Nice printer but the app requirements to access my personal data is ridiculous. And they all have to be agreed to, or it’s just a paperweight. Other printer apps dont need to search my call history…. Hmmmmm?
