Thanks Tim for selecting a real collector of watches, someone who just enjoys the pieces for what they are. A refreshing break from past guests who smash their way through hyped brands.
One of the best episodes ever!! This dude was cool. Not just because of his modest collection, but they’re all him. No “must haves” that feel out of place. Definitely better than a Mayer video. Love it.
Tim is such a wonderful host and articulates fantastically. His quetions are good and have a depth to them, which really allows the conversation to flow smoothly while leaving ample space for the guest to flourish their thoughts. Please keep these episodes coming, they're my morning routine saving grace. Love, VInce
Love it. I researched for a year before my first big purchase, and it was absolutely worth the wait. Made the moment that much more special when I pulled the trigger.
These episodes are absolutely amazing and truly refreshing experience to watch collectors who buy what they love and not only boring hype brands. ❤ JMB ❤
These episodes are so much better than Hodinkee’s. Please try to make this a weekly feature. There is no dearth of collectors with their own stories that need to be told!
I am a fan of Tim Mosso but the talking watches episodes are definitely not better than Hodinkee’s. Not Tim’s fault - hes great, but the guests aren’t as interesting.
A recommendation: Tim should do a wrist check at the start of every episode. I’m always wondering what he is wearing but can never seem to get a clear shot
We've featured many watches at this price point, but we don't usually see them in isolation. Lots of micro brands have appeared in this show, but there's usually more expensive timepieces alongside. Best, Tim
A collector with the same brand names and same models and jumps on every trend, brings nothing new to the discussion. Its WAAAAAY more interesting to listen to someone that doesn't just buy what the "experts" say are cool, but looks at many differing styles and manufacturers, and makes his/her own mind up.
What an absolutely beautiful and fascinating collection. The variety in case size and design language is so varied - really interesting to see. This collector really knows his personal artistic preference and not a member of the typical bandwagon with the same stuff hype chasers acquire.
My advice for novice watch collectors is to please be judicious when taking out high interest loans for new watches. Make sure they are only the hypest pieces.
I would love to see more close up footage of the watches during these collector discussion and less of the body shots. As interesting as all your guests are, they aren't Brad Pitt, so their watches should get a bit more screen time.
Tim, this watch collector is unsophisticated and disorganized. His lack of knowledge and chaotic approach to collecting made for a disappointing experience.
People like you are the reason most social media sucks, Do I love all of his choices no, but I have great respect for people who buy watches they love not watches to appease other people. What I deplore are people like you who hide behind nondescript names and criticize other peoples likes and dislikes.
You sound pretentious, and not too sophisticated. Your negativity will leak into other parts of your life, good luck at being better. I enjoyed his collection, and his perspective, top man, Reggie. 👍🏴🇺🇸🇭🇹
@@andrewm9669 Not at all. It's imperative that Tim maintains the highest standards for the 1916 Company and invites only vetted guests to ensure quality content. Incidentally, it seems like you're struggling with self-worth and could benefit from some personal growth. Good luck.
Sounds like you must be the most organized and thoughtful watch collector in the world. Maybe you should be on with Tim to teach us all what real watch collecting is about. Personally, I respect someone for putting themselves out there and showing us watches that they bought because they liked them, not because they thought other people would like them. You have some non descript name can hide in anonymity and critique other people.
Mr Valentin is a breath of fresh air. The range of his collection is beautiful. Buy what you love.
Truly appreciate the kind mention, Reggie and 1916!

Didn’t really seem like he knew what he was talking about. Or maybe it was just nerves
Spot on
@IamnotJokic lol he's just a guy. Dumbo.

A refreshing and enjoyable episode. More of this, please!
I truly enjoy your one-on-one interviews with watch collectors like Reggie. Please continue…
What a beautiful collection. Always inspiring to see the variety that people love.
Tim, great show, amazing diverse collection, and fun to hear his story
You do with out a doubt the best watch collector interviews. Well
done
Thank you! We put a ton of work into these and appreciate this feedback.
Best,
Tim
Great to see my cousin Reggie pursuing his passion!! Looking forward to seeing a second appearance!!
Great collection, Reggie. That Parmigiani looks great on you.
Thank you 🙏🏾
The Chopard and GP are amazing. Great collection and very unique!
Love it. I researched for a year before my first big purchase, and it was absolutely worth the wait. Made the moment that much more special when I pulled the trigger.
Very cool to see he's got a Baltic MR-01 in his collection!
I identify with this collector! Great interview!
I really enjoyed listening to Reggie and thanks to him for sharing his collection. These vids are always interesting.
These episodes are absolutely amazing and truly refreshing experience to watch collectors who buy what they love and not only boring hype brands.

Great interview of a great guy with an excellent collection!
Great collection from a guy who gets it. One of us.
Love this guy's collection. Such an excletic collection that is unique to him. These are the collections I enjoy watching here.
Love this conversation and love the collection.
Great video - thanks Reggie (total dude) Tim and the video team who did justice to his fascinating collection with great photography and editing.
Love this episode. Basically buy what you like mentality and not go after the “hype”. I’ve realized this over the years.
Reggie! So cool to see you do this man.
Reggie! Congrats. Great video.
Met Reggie couple of times. Great guy.

@UserKR13 would rather watch this then insert celebrity with only rolex collection.
Great episode. More interviews with collectors, please.
Nice, I really love these non-Rolex watch collections...! 👌🏻 So much more interesting and thoughtful...
Way to go, Reggie!💪🏾
Incredible video. Really enjoyed speaking with you when you visited my beautiful hometown of Edinburgh.
18:11 finally someone said it!!
Love this! 💪🏿
Another brilliant episode.
We are getting back to individual collecting journeys rather than hype chasing.
This was brilliant. Fantastic watches it's inspired!
So much better than Hodinkee’s talking watches. Such a great variety and the passion is evident.
Nice discussion!
Beautiful collection 👏
Great watch guest!!
Got the same Oris Aquis in Blue! Love it
The IWC GST perpetual calendar chronograph is a marvel. Damn, they don't make 'em like this anymore...
This dude seems cool. I wish we learned more about the guests.
great work
A recommendation: Tim should do a wrist check at the start of every episode. I’m always wondering what he is wearing but can never seem to get a clear shot
During this interview, Azimuth Mr. Roboto Bronzo Artist's Edition. I mostly skip wrist checks because it's a showcase of my guest.
Best,
Ti
He’s wearing a bronze Mr. Roboto watch from Azimuth
alternative: include it as a note in the description if you don't want to talk about it on video. "in this episode, Tim was wearing..."
This focus of the segment is the collector, not Tim.
The Burberry, for a “fashion” piece actually has tasteful and timeless look to it.
Would love to see a collector episode with a budget sub 10K someday
We've featured many watches at this price point, but we don't usually see them in isolation. Lots of micro brands have appeared in this show, but there's usually more expensive timepieces alongside.
Best,

Who wants to see micro brands all the same looking with cheap Chinese movements

@@misterzero8667 get a grip. Plenty nice watches one could buy sub 10K. Ever looked at anything besides the hyped up brands?😂
That Chopard nice.
That Parmigiani is fire. 🔥
I have a green OP. My smallest piece but biggest compliment getter.
Green just stands out
The 41 is a decent size. The 36 is tiny indeed.
I just got my first OP and love it
he don't have have dreams he has Movies
Chopard L.U.C, GP and Parmigiani makes top horology . And they are still underrated, got a nice L.U.C sport 2000 for 3000 CHF 😮.
Underrated brands. So many great LUC models out there
This man has taste #chama 🔥

Tim said 4 months ago he doesn't like the bel canto, not a fan of the look, now he saying the opposite??
It happens to me all the time, I may not like a watch and after hating it so much I end up liking it. maybe it finally caught his fancy.
I would love to see more close up footage of the watches during these collector discussion and less of the body shots. As interesting as all your guests are, they aren't Brad Pitt, so their watches should get a bit more screen time.
Hope to maybe talk watches with you one day Tim! You are a treasure to our hobby. Cheers from Chicago
Only in watch collecting can someone go from not knowing what a GMT is to owning a perpetual calendar
No hate, but only 4 years into collecting? Come back when you hit 15…
No, four years is great. At the rate that Reggies collecting, if we wait 15 years, Tim would need three days to cover Reggie’s collection
