And the thing is with all these Dutch singers. They are all so nice, fun and down to earth. Highly talented, zero attitude. Floor, Anneke, Sharon, Simone. Angelic voices and beautiful souls. We don't have much but we do have our metal queens. The best we Dutchies have to offer to the world.
Singers name is Sharon del Adel. Next to Floor, Simone, Anneke another great Dutch metal vocalist. Of course there are many more, starting with Charlotte Wessels (ex-Delain - another voice/band to check out).

Within Temptation has done a bunch of collaborations over the years, the latest one is Shed My Skin with Annisokay.
A lot of great songs on their own to get to as well. Love Ice Queen, try the live version at the Black Symphony concert.

I normally absolute can't stand rap, but this song is the only one where it is really good integrated and sounds good in the context of the whole music around it. And the video of course also looks fantastic, like most Within Temptation videos.
As far as i remember Within Temptation was also together with Nightwish the most important band who started the whole symphonic metal movement back in the late 90s. Both bands were founded in 1996 i think, or released their first album in that year.

Sharon Den Adel not only sings but is a highly qualified fashion designer. She designed and made the dress she's wearing. This is from the Album 'Hydra' where she also duetted with Ex- Nightwish Tarja Turunen (Paradise( what about us)) and ex Killswitch Engage Howard Jones (Dangerous). She has also duetted with fellow Dutch singer, Anneke Van Giersbergen and the Metropole orchestra live (Somewhere).
Hey guys. My choice for you guys to react to is Truth Beneath The Rose, Black Symphony, 2008. One of my all-time favorite Within Temptation songs -- because it's about redemption. It's about questioning what you think you know, realizing you were wrong, and then wondering if there is any hope for redemption.
It's a song I've listened to when I've asked myself if I'm doing the right thing in my life.
Edit: BRO! If you two like rap, then you NEED to react to Bloodywood! From New Delhi, India, I've gone to calling Bloodywood "India's Linkin Park," but Bloodywood hits harder than LP ever did. Check out Aaj, Jee Veerey, Dana Dan, Ghaddar, and Endurant. Not only is this group freaking phenomenal, but they speak about social issues, AND they are 100% independent! Check 'em out!

@EnterTheCronic Not my favourite song of theirs but happy to see you enjoyed it so much. My own personal fave WT song is 'Paradise', their collab with Tarja, but I see you already did that one. A few more you could try - 'Don't Pray For Me', 'The Purge' and 'Faster'. Also, an older one, the classic 'Angels' which has a great video. Hope you explore more Within Temptation.
Since you like live concerts perhaps you can do the whole concert Black Symphony with Metropol Orchestra.
They did that concert when they excist 12,5 years
