This song is great. Within Temptation is just an amazing band. And Sharon is definitely in the top tier of female vocalists.
Xzibit is old school, there were times when rappers meant every word they said and scratched hearts with lyrics. Big respect for him. And Sharon is beyond beautiful as always.
I had same sceptical feeling before i heard it. But it works really well. Love the song. 🤘🎶 🖤 🎸🇫🇮
It's one of my favorite Within Temptation songs..very powerful in its message. As a guy who suffered from depression, and alcoholism for years...breaking free from the pain and addiction...could be one of the meanings to this song. At the end of the song you see that XZIBIT broke free and released himself from the darkness where he was living.
Others have likened it to "The Matrix"... which is also a viable explanation. But whatever it is...it's a really good song!

X is an OG. A legend. These 2 genres fused beautifully.
Normally i can't stand Rap at all, but in this song its really great integrated and it works really great.

Great song, love Sharon's incredible powerfull voice mixed with some hardcore rap. Bonkers. I don't know which songs you've done, but this i s certainly not their best song imho. Really gotta try the Black Symphony or the Elements concerts, which really are awesome.

Having said that this is AWESOME who said RAP & SYMPHONIC METAL would not work.
