You really get correct and understand what outstanting point of B'z. It's past 30 YEAR's since they made a debut but the members, TAK Matsumoto on guitar and Koshi Inaba on vocal are still peforming amazing live stage at such a very very huge hall or dome even today. In US or some other western countries regrd their style, hard rock music as legacy or nostalgia. But even in Japan, they are so talented that it's hard to expect the other new rock star will appear after them. It means B'z is the last Rock Star exactly.

I must be the biggest B'z fan in the UK, I've been their fan for 15 years & I've been to Japan to see them Live 3 times, they are amazing Live. (I have also met Koshi's parents lol)
I believe the last time they performed in USA/Canada was in 2012. (But they rarely perform outside of Japan ^^; )
That first song you listened to (Love Phantom) was from the mid 90's & was actually used as the end theme to the X-Files in Japan ^^

I empathize with your "Why have never heard of them before?!" sentiment. 😂 This band is great. 😄 That said, Glay -- a band from the same general time period -- is in the Guinness Book for having the largest audience at a paid performance ever (Glay Expo, 1999. There were 200 000 people there, if I remember correctly.), so you need to check them out. And I'm not saying this just because I like them.
(Also, yo-ka of DIAURA is also very energetic during lives. 😅 Check out the live version for their song "INFECTION" and you'll see what I mean.)

Hey I’m a B’z fan for my entire life and after all these years using internet to look for news of them I’m really glad I watched a reaction like yours! Thank you for praising their importance and talent worldwide. I’m Brazilian and it feels really lonely to recognize how big they are, it’s like, I just say to the others that I love so much a Japanese band (I tattooed them in my shoulder) but I can’t measure in words how great they are. You’re very kind. Thank you very much!

As a B'z fan of so many years, I am so happy to find your video. They are legends and their professionalism is very impressive. I read somewhere that Koshi runs 10km every day to maintain his lung capacity.
"Love Phantom" was released in 1995. When they have concerts, at least a handful of them are held at likes of baseball stadiums. So, the number of audiences can be from 8k to 55k. You are so right about you being better off listening live. They came to the US at least twice. The last one being in 2013, I think. They released "Into Free", which is an English version of an older song, but the song was used in a game called Dragon's Dogma.
For the live version of B'z songs, you can use search terms like "B'z" and "LIVE-GYM". You'll find 100s of videos of Koshi running all over the stage.

How about Kenshi Yonezu, who is a diverse artist and has become his representative song, "Lemon", which has been played 700 million times this time?
His song is J-POP, but it has various elements, and it is amazing that the two songs do not have the same tone.
He also composes, writes, produces, illustrations for his albums, or even MV illustrations.
Would you like to be interested?

I am so glad you have decided to react to B'z (the u at the end is silent so you can just pronounce it like Beez)! They get overlooked by Western J-rock fans quite a bit, most likely because they are an older band and not linked to viskei in anyway.
That said they are amazing live. I came up from the Seattle area to see them in Vancouver, BC when they had their 2011 North American tour and to this day it is one of my favorite concerts I have ever been to. The venue was much smaller than what they play in Japan but they still brought so much energy all throughout the concert as if it was one of their dome or arena concerts. I would recommend to anyone who likes them to see them live if they can.
I would recommend their song "Home" for one of their ballads to try. And if you can find it they performed with Aerosmith for one of Aerosmith's Japan tours, and I know there is video of them performing a song called "Real Thing Shakes" together which is fun to watch.

    誇張が多くて面白さに欠けるけど、B'zの事取り上げてくれてありがとう!

You should listen their song, 'Into Free', it was used as the opening for the first release of the game, Dragon's Dogma.

I'm so happy you like B'z! We need more US fans :)
You had three excellent song selections... I'd also recommend the albums "Epic Day" and "C'mon"
I gotta say, though, it's pronounced "bees", and it honestly grated on me every time you said "bisou"

It's pronounced "Bees" but Japanese people tend to end everything that ends with a Z to "Zu" so it's actually pronounced "Bees" and it's J Rock. I've actually went to one of their concerts.

Thanks for very nice reacts and comments to B'z!
I am a male from Tokyo, Japan and I've been fan of B'z for more than 8 years.
I've mentioned that you are Canadian, and the supporting drummer of B'z, Shane Gaalaas is Canadian as well!
In addition, B'z had held a gig at Vancouver in 2012!
I am not sure when the next gig in North America would be, but if you have a chance in the future, I hope you will have a chance to go to B'z gig!!
    It's so exquisite!!
