Undoubtedly the very best of all the "Mesquiteers" movies made by Republic Pictures in the 1930s and 40s. This series (with these three specific stars) was the best of the "trio" B-westerns. Republic however made a big mistake when John Wayne replaced Robert Livingston. Also, this movie has an unfortunate audio skip at the end when after being tricked by his friends, Livingston mournfully intones...."My pals."
Gotta love this Trio!
One of my favorite trios
Really enjoyed watching this. Thank you 🤠
I love seeing earl dwire as a good guy. It's very rare.
At the end, when being chased by the gang, the hero should have used the rope across the trail trick.
Goodstuf

Stony could have at least ridden a different horse while in disguise. That's what I like about the Durango Kid, different clothes and different horse.

Another mistake was letting Crash Corrigan & Max Terhune go.
