That's an interesting key transition from F minor in verses to A minor in choruses. Going two tones up gives this song uplifting feel. Great trick. Never noticed that before.

This seems very fun to play. Also the drumming on this song (and album) is neat, something I miss on most of the newer PR stuff. I have no idea why this album is so fucking forgotten, it's make me sad. But well, good cover mate.
The funny thing is this album was hated on back in the day by fans for featuring less rapping and more singing but in retrospect, a lot of those same fans really like this album now lol. This is Papa Roach's equivalent to what Minutes To Midnight was for Linkin Park. Hated on because it was different at first but as time goes on and they put out more music that is even further different from the original sound and suddenly these once hated albums become really good. It's forgotten because it was a transitional album. They wanted to become more of a rock band with more singing but they haven't quite figured out how to drop the metal elements out completely. Getting Away With Murder still even had remnants of that nu-metal sound but they were starting to really get their rock groove down then. By the time The Paramour Sessions came out, they were a full-fledged rock band at that point and all that original sound was pretty much gone. lovehatetragedy only produced one strong single (She Loves Me Not) so that didn't help it any. Time And Time Again did nothing on the charts and those were the only 2 singles. It's their highest charted album though mostly because of all the hype being the follow-up to Infest. it's the only album I can think of where it was the band's highest charting album but it's also their most forgotten lol.

Thanks! I don't really have any full-fledged originals. I'm a doodler when it comes to writing. I'll write some riffs and come up with some melodies and I'll mash them together sometimes for a rough demo of a song but that's about the extent of what I write. I can't sing for shit so that really kills any desire I have for writing lyrics lol.
