Thanks G19, that’s all I’ve got to this point. Couldn’t really hunt very hard as I felt terrible. I am still not feeling that great. I’m hopefully going to feel well enough to climb a tree to hunt in the Sam Houston around Christmas but that’s about all the time I’ve got left. I will be in Oklahoma on Monday to meet a tree harvester to hopefully work a deal to thin the new 17 acres I have bought in SE Oklahoma. How is your season going? I hope you’ve had lots of time to get out and harvest some deer.

Yes sir, she moved quite a bit. 33 yards gives a deer or even a big old pig plenty of time to get into first gear easily. We have one ladder stand that’s 32 yards from the tree and when you stand up to shoot the bow is about 24 feet high. We’ve learned over the years and many deer shot we need to aim at the bottom hair/body line. Even then we still get some high lung hits once in a while. We both have about 280fps arrow speed which may help a little, who knows for sure. Your doe in this video didn’t appear to be jumpy and still moved a lot. One never knows what’s going to happen even when you know you’ve made a great shot. 👍👍

Ever decide if you’re going to sell your place?

Everything I own is for sale except for my wife. She stays forever. The price has got to be right. Are you interested? 3 years ago, the 100 acres adjacent to the North sold for $375K and it has a decent small house on it, no septic. The 100 acres adjacent to me on the East side sold for $400k+ a year ago. The house to the north is better than my cabin but the one to the east is not as nice and much smaller. I have a 1000+ sq ft cabin with 1 bathroom, a loft, septic tank and full washer dryer hookup. Over the years I have lived there for months at a time, the longest being about 9 months for a stretch. Thanks for watching Rolando.
