Your tank/crop is absolutely gorgeous 😍! As I live in FL, I really could use that one. I love that you, Crochet & and Knit, so love your project updates!! I learned to crochet first but want to knit more and get better at it. I have so much yarn that I need to get to work. Those socks are beautiful too!! I have plans to open an LYS out of my old house, so I'm binging your travel series. Amazing 👏
Wind Cave is definitely worth returning to. It's one of the coolest caves I have ever been to. It's honestly tied with Mammoth Cave for my top caves. I love them both.
I love seeing all of your travels. My husband and I would love to go see a lot of the National Parks and I love when you talk about all of the planning to knit a project. I do the same thing and love to see that I have this in common with you. I will also be going to Flock in Seattle this year. I missed when you were in Portland, OR and I would love to meet you in person. I hope it works out ❤
Any chance you'll put together a travel knitting planning video? Love your planning videos so much and a travel one would be super fun this time of year!
I love that you share all of your notes and details for your projects because it’s helped me learn soooo much! And also inspired me to keep track of all my own notes which has been super helpful on the rare occasion that I remake a pattern
I got the CAKES silicone non-sticky nipple covers and like them alright, I’m a bigger chested girlie and got the large size. NIPPPY makes some VERY sticky nipple covers that I love, I use them over and over and over and over again when my back hurts too much to wear bras and they’re actually my favorite, I’ve re-purchased them twice after wearing them several dozen times each until they eventually don’t stick anymore. You can wash them and they get sticky again, which is great for when you get some pet hairs stuck on the adhesive.
I will keep my fingers crossed that you can finish the hood in two days 🙈 after sewing a lot of hoodies and being really surprised as to how much fabric they use two days feels really little time, but maybe it is different for a knitted hood 🫣🤓
Congratulations - 50K subscribers...woop woop. BTW - Petrified Forest NP - Arizona :) which is where I'm currently at :) Safe travels to you all. Thanks for all you do ☺
Safe travels! Probably sick of me saying, but I enjoy these so much. I get so much done just watching and knitting. Lots of ear scratches for Toaster. He’s such a sweet laid back boy.
When you go back to SD, you need to go to the Corn Palace. As always, love traveling with you guys and I love hearing about all the yarny events. Have a great week and safe travels to Seattle. Looking forward to seeing you.
Live Kent’s picture with the dinosaur but where’s the one with you riding the giant Jack Rabbit? Lots of great country y’all got to explore this week!! My favorite thing at Rushmore was the service in the evening where they honored active military and veterans. So moving. Be careful out there on the road!!
Did my TV brainfart or is the section about needle felting, not leaving Toaster in the car, and the 45 degrees ladder, in the video twice in two different sections?😂
I love your hoodie on you and you can totally do it! I just finished my traveler and I can say that the sleeves will actually go really quickly since they're pretty short (it stretches on blocking much more than the body just FYI). The hood will take longer than you think it will so I would actually give it 3 days. It's the Icord that will slow you down...I strongly recommend you pick up one of those Icord tools if you get a chance. There's a little bit of a learning curve, but once you get it, you can do the Icord in less than an hour. I believe in you! And thanks so much for what you do for small businesses and the community, you're doing such a service to them and for all of us!
In South Dakota, when you go back if you haven't, check out Bear Country. That is a really neat experience, but you do have to drive through it yet it is worth the stop.
An idea: on the Yarny Events page, you could add a submission form for new events, with comment fields for the event name, event location/state, and event dates.
You will not need a heavy sweater in Seattle.😂 we're getting a heat dome, most places don't have AC, and the ones that do set it so low it barely matters.
The air quality in SD is dangerously right now from fires in the north west. It will be a good idea to wait until the air is clear and the temperature drops.
Fiber arts festival at Red River valley fair grounds Fargo North Dakota this weekend. I posted the link to their web page for their specifics but apparently it was removed.

Oops! Looks like we doubled up a section in the podcast! Fixing it now and it will drop off in a few hours. 😁
And here I thought I was having a major Dejá vue...
Congratulations on reaching 50K subscribers. I have been enjoying the travelling and how you adapt your filming to the conditions wherever you are!

It was lovely to run into you at Wind Cave NP! Safe travels on the rest of your adventures! ❤ Kim

Totally off topic, but your skin looks amazing in this episode 😍 On topic, your Traveler Hoodie is looking so good. I love the fit.
Congrats on making 50k!!!
Congratulations on 50K! I have been using leftover sock yarn to make matching Sophie Scarfs.
Wall Drug=definition of a tourist trap. And that was when I visited as a kid in about 1989. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
Hi Natalie your top looks great 😊Kaye x
Happy Van-iversary! You started out on the first weekend in August 2023! 🎉
Any chance you'll put together a travel knitting planning video? Love your planning videos so much and a travel one would be super fun this time of year!
Love the ripple camisole. I think Meghan of the A Knotty Mess podcast made a video of bra strap friendly knitted tank tops.
I love that you share all of your notes and details for your projects because it’s helped me learn soooo much! And also inspired me to keep track of all my own notes which has been super helpful on the rare occasion that I remake a pattern

I like lift and a little more volume 😆 😣 I’ve heard those are amazing though!
I hope you were able to visit Personal Threads in Omaha. Years ago, I had knit sample sweaters for the owner. Interesting back story to their shop.
Yes for snaps

Kato Yarn Company is from Mankato, MN which is in south central Minnesota. Not far from Sioux Falls. 😊
love the yarn store tours as additions to your videos -- thanks for all you put into these -- they are appreciated!!!
I don’t like starting with a purl on magic loop either.
Congratulations - 50K subscribers...woop woop. BTW - Petrified Forest NP - Arizona :) which is where I'm currently at :) Safe travels to you all. Thanks for all you do ☺
Thank you!!! Omg have fun! We loved it there.
Safe travels! Probably sick of me saying, but I enjoy these so much. I get so much done just watching and knitting. Lots of ear scratches for Toaster. He’s such a sweet laid back boy.
Aww thank you!! It means so much. Giving Toaster a scratch!
I love the camisole on you. It looks so great! I have the issue of purling the 1st stitch also when using 2 circulars or magic loop.
That hoodie is absolutely adorable on you ! Even just as it is !
Love the travel section and seeing Mount Rushmore was awesome! Congrats on K50 subscribers! Love to Toaster x
The traveler hoodie is looking really good! Never knew about felting, that looks awesome! Learn something new everyday!
When you go back to SD, you need to go to the Corn Palace.

Congrats on 50K Natalie!! I am hoping for 500 myself right now :) I love your podcast! And your Traveller hoodie - now I want to make one

And the not having 75/25 superwash yarn in north and south dakota 🤔 Major Deja Vu here 😂
haha no, we just made a mistake. fixing it now!
Thank you! I thought I was loosing my mind. 😅
I was waiting for you to say you were making a matching Musselburgh Hat when you had 70g of yarn after your sock week socks 😂 10:11
Oooh that could be fun!!
Your traveler is looking so good!!
Congrats on reaching 50k subscribers!🎉

I feel the same about purling the first stitch with magic loop! I thought it was just me. 😅

❤😊
Question how do you do a Icord eage do you pick up stitches first I just don’t know what to do 😊
I live in Alaska. Where are you going in Alaska?
Why did you double edit the same segment in?
😅 it wasn't intentional. Fixing it now!
@@KnittyNatty No worries. Take care and get some sleep!😁
