When they saw Qatar not reaponding to any of their demands, the UAE stated that the blockade will be lifted under 1 condition only, to cancel the 2022 world cup. THIS is the real reason of the blockade, they know Qatar is not a terrorist country. You can say that the UAE is the face of the GCC currently. But after 2022 world cup, they wont be.the UAE initiated the blockade and others followed. Just like the UAE initiated the war in yemen and saudi followed.

I wonder how Qatari citizens would have gone on the Hajj during the embargo time?
we didn't, only in the last year of the blockade they made special exceptions for hajj but not many went.
we didn't
Some of us went, they went by Oman but only some did
Many Qatari people went to Haj during that time
Some did, after a couple of months they allowed us to enter hajj but most of the population didnt feel safe going at that time

Why do Saudi Arabia & co. think they have the right to determine the policies of a sovereign, independent neighbor?
Becuz they consider themselves the "Rulers" of Arabia
It is Saudi. Nuff said
Because the gulf have deals, live together or die together, when Iraq invaded Kuwait, Saudi Arabia help Kuwait, and Iraq attacked Saudi Arabia and some people died, but now Qatar is working with Iran, and helping Iranians to grow, even though iran want to destroy Saudi Arabia and occupy some Arab countries, they already destroyed Lebanon and Yemen and Iraq and Syria

You missed a crucial part, when everything blew wide open.
Qatar should definitely be banned for hosting 2022 World Cup though. It killed more workers than every other world cup combined. FIFA is seriously sick to condone Qatar.
source: trust me bro
@@Akei51
The source is statements of some UAE officials like the chief of police and spokesperson from the ministry of foreign affairs who tweeted, back then, that the blockade could be lifted if Qatar agreed to share some of the 2022 world cup matches with its neighboring countries.
You clearly were not following the events back then.
Did you just UAE the country that held expo2020 "wants to share the world X_X" and thats why they did the blockade?, and did you just say that Saudi followed UAE to the war on "yemen"? you mean the SAUDI led coalition ? that is fighting a terrorist group that took over yemen?, you clearly don't know what you are on about
