New years happily alone, off the streets, cozy by the christmas tree. Eating chinese food and re reading all of the christmas cards i have received as well as i read all the blessings in my blessing bowl from the year. Happy new year to all of you!
We never go to bed on New Years Eve it’s a tradition here in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 we have food even hot chocolate and gather with family the fire works are amazing ❤loved the haul and all the Christmas gifts 🎁
I love your thrift hall. It’s so much fun to find treasures at a thrift store. Love all the Santa Mugs and the pitchers. I’m glad y’all had a Merry Christmas.❤
Sister, boy you said it "Do I need these thing no, no I don't 😂" I'm going to try so hard this coming year to only buy needs not wants, it's hard for sure . I picked up a Spode Santa and tree S & P shaker for $1.00 for both it was their 75th anniversary set and a S' mores ornament for .50 cents at our Habitat for Humanity store, and a vintage Nancy Ann doll for $1.50 did I need any of it no I did not but after the Holidays they move it to a different store or dump it in tbe garbage 😢.
Tonya and Greg. A wonderful haul. The US Army pitcher with the red stripe is great. It was a great find to get the wood masher in the bag of utensils. I had that Goose tray many years ago😊. I love all your gifts from Greg. They are wonderful. I love the patina of the juggling pin . We stay home on New Year’s Eve and are rarely ever awake on Midnight😵💫. Love and blessings ❤️❤️❤️
Hoping you and your family have a very happy and healthy new year. I have taken down all the 'STRICTLY Christmas' decor....and transition into winter leaving the pine foliage and red berries etc and even some pine trees - even white sparkly ones in preparation for Valentine's Day decor. I also kept out my antique celluloid deer with bottle brush trees on one mantle as a winter wonderland theme.
I have NFS (not for sale) on my easels because they’re hard to find. I had to put that on because they were coming up missing. I don’t buy the plastic ones as they break too easily. I love oval frames. Vtg/antique frames with older pictures or even birds/horses will sell quickly in my booth. You can always put a sprig of Babies Breath in the tiny coffee pot. Great thrift haul again, so happy for you! Oh, I can just visualize your happy reaction on your Christmas gifts. ❤️ Wow, Gregs Christmas gifts are great too. That vase, Beautiful! ❤️ I’m looking forward to summer and coming south again, this time I would really like to meet up with you and Greg. 😁 When I did our 2024 Christmas pictures on Facebook you could see the lack of looking like Christmas around here in the dining room. I still want to email you an update on how things are going. Have a great Saturday. ❤️
Great haul, I stay in my cozy warm home New Year’s Eve. I love certain pieces of milk glass. The open lace piece is beautiful. Love the aluminum cake cover. Have a great weekend. 💜💜💜
We’re in bed most nights by 8PM, including New Years Eve. 😂 Christmas was taken down and packed away by Friday (27th). It’s depressing to me to see Christmas decor still up after the holiday.
The pitcher is US Army - I actually found a little chunky no handle type creamer with the same emblem just recently. I turned it around so it shows the white side and put it with my ironstone on my corner cabinet display shelf
Worked the last two days taking down indoor decorations and still not done…ugh! Staying home New Year’s Eve but will stay up until midnight. The fireworks are numerous in my area so sleep is not an option until about one or two.😅. WOW, very nice Christmas gifts…cute Santas. Your husband received nice gifts too…and thanks for sharing. Happy New Year!
We always stay up 'til midnight on New Year's Eve, but we are home. We cook a nice dinner, perhaps watch a movie or just sit and talk about what we want to do in the next year.
New Years…I stay in my cozy home and go to sleep before the new year. 🎉 1/3 of my Christmas is put up…I have boxes and bubble wrap everywhere. Basically it looks like a Christmas cyclone went through my dinning and living areas. 😂❤
I went thrifting on the 26th, and I went to Goodwill and found a five- or six-foot feather tree for $10. No one wanted it when I saw it. I tried to tell my friend about it but couldn't talk. I've wanted a tiny one because I knew I couldn't afford a large one; it was a God moment.Put a little heat on your picture, warm dry rag, blow dryer.
That's a great haul!. What wonderful presents you got too! Do you mind telling me the name of the Thrift Store you found. My daughter and I were out thrifting in that same area yesterday but we couldn't find hardly any shops.
I've been married 41 years and I can't remember ever going out for New Year's Even, even in my youth. I always stayed in and watched Dick Clark. I was a young married woman during the duck/goose decor craze. Thankfully, I let that decor craze pass me by. 😁
@@kathleenlewis239 I’m editing a video now where I clear up some of the confusion. I’m on a waiting list and hopefully soon will be you going in. I’ve been told to be prepared because it could be anytime now. I’m afraid I have no knowledge and I’m just praying I’m not a total disaster.

Great haul! Our area thrift stores don’t have the treasures you find! They are over shopped, but I keep going and looking.

I think the pitcher is from the US Army. So cute.
Yes ma'am it is.

Good to see you! No, don't sell any display pieces. Are you closer to getting your booth? Can't wait to see it. So fun to set a booth up

As a booth vendor, I'd love to hear more about your booth if you're willing to share.

I stay at home on new years. I took my Christmas. Down yesterday. I got. Everything. Back. Together. I'm. Going to start. Thrifying. Right awsu
No, I keep most things up until new years. It’s so depressing.
Have a blessed 2025!
Stay home and watch football. In bed by 10.
Just make your display tools for sale but as ugly as possible so no one wants them 🤔
