Each of these women is a galaxy of talent. Never thought I'd see them perform together as they create a new universe!! Whitman wrote "I Sing the Body Electric," Grace Potter IS the body electric and Sam Fish turns her electric axe into a living body.

I understand. Listen to Humble Pie, Performance, live at the Fillmore. Definitely similarities, in sound, between Stevie's vocals and guitar and the vocals and guitar in this great video.
Some of these comments sound like they’re coming from a frustrated, catty old “Karen”. Both these women have great strong voices, Grace plays multiple instruments, and Samantha can throw down with ANYONE on slide guitar, She smokes those strings! And guess what - they’re nice to look at too. If anybody has a problem with all THAT, then they should just accept the fact that they’ll never be happy. Sorry. Keep on doin’ what you do, ladies - You’re Kickin’ @$$!
Humble Pie did my favorite version of this, Steve Marriott sang the hell out of it. I thought this was pretty hard to watch. Most of the time, I enjoy Grace, but this was a mess.
I hear ya. I grew up in the sixties with garage bands like J. Geils and The Inmates. So many more. Not a single rhinestone to be found. No choreography. But the music . . .
Ya the act is getting old. 🥲 saw her years ago in Montreal and she wasn’t trying so hard. Samantha Fish on the other hand is the real deal. Class all the way. 😊
One of the best concerts I ever saw was at Taft Theatre in Cincy when Grace was with the Nocturnals. Saw her last year in Kalamazoo. Not as good. Just my opinion though.
The Nocturnals were a TIGHT band. The show they did for Live From the Artists Den, at Bryant Park, on PBS, was fantastic. They also did an amazing benefit show for storm relief, that I watched live, but has never been shown again to the best of my knowledge. When the band fell apart, I was very sad. But that is what happens when one member, Grace, gets all the attention and basically believes they are bigger than the band. ruclips.net/video/tKOhz3rjoH0/видео.html
But at the Taft show Grace was wearing mom jeans and did not crawl on the floor in front of Samantha Fish. But seriously, the Nocturnals were wonderful that night. Though Grace herself seemed subdued and more tame than normal.
@@Jeff-fy1fp I was gonna add Peebles up top in answer to Tina Turner. Decided to keep quiet for fear of being branded a miserable old git! I'm gonna dig the album out now!
I feel bad for Samantha…. It seems like every video of her’s as of late has sh!t sound production. This is obviously semi-professionally shot, so why would they not run the sound through the board??? These two match up really well.

IMO...Grace is usually not choreographed and most of her moves come from the heart....In this performance I see a little of that but she is also doing a bit of a Tina impression which might seem a bit forced...but all in all a heartfelt tribute and Sam as usual is great...Wish the video had some closeups though...

Grace and Samantha need to tour together!
I'd rather see a Nocturnals reunion tour. That band was TIGHT.
No they don’t….
🔥🤟🤟
I feel sorry for those other guitarists on stage after Sam starts playing
Keep it up Im digging it Mam
A Good Tina Turner Tribute song by Grace and Guitar by Samantha 🙂👍
Sam and Grace Soul Girls
Channeling Tina Turner and Prince. Oh yeah. Miss them both.
Lol
Those pants Samantha 😈😈😍😍😍
They are smoking’. I would love to hear them do one of buck barkers original songs.
I have never thought of this as Tina Turner song. Ann Peebles did this. Eruption made a popular version too. But Tina Turner?

Grace by name, but not by nature. And she's no Tina Turner. The real star on that stage is Samantha Fish ❤
Do they only got one camera? Cheapos -
Sorry next time I’ll recruit more people with iPhones to film with me.
Ann Peebles was the original artist.
Is that a Prince tune?
No. It's an Ann Peebles tune. ruclips.net/video/A09GZeORYlo/видео.html
Ann Peebles, early 1970’s. A few remakes over the years, including Tina Turner, as well as the Commitments

Love Grace's voice. She tries a little too hard on stage. Staged sexiness, not natural like Tina. Samantha shredding it on guitar.
