I have the Hisun 500. It came with a Windshield and everything else you mentioned. I've had mine for 2 years and love it. I've had no issues with it and I have 150 hrs on it thus far.
Went by this place last weekend with intention of getting one of the 2 vehicles reviewed in his video. he listened to my needs and even offered me something for my trade, I didn't purchase one of these but did wind up getting what I actually needed based on his recommendations, if you're close to his shop stop by. Excellent customer service and knowledge. Highly recommend this place!
I like The looks of the Axis better and it seamed way quieter but I liked the Bighorn bench seat, LED lights and the windshield. As of now in my area the Axis is $700 cheaper. Thanks, this video made up my mind. Axis it is. =)
Thanks for taking the time to film this comparison. I am interested, and in SC but can't figure out your company name. Would love to come by to take a look at both.
Just bought the Axis 500 and love it. Unfortunately, I could only get it from Lowes (did get a great discount from being military). It only came as it was and as I got it home, it had no real paperwork (warranty, owners manual, maintence, etc...), and was missing the tools that were supposed to be in it! Contacted Texas and they sent the PDF for the warranty and manual, but waiting on info on tool kit! Great machine. Next challenge is to find a legit mechanic. (I live in NW Florida, and there are lots of machines up here, so it shouldn't be too hard to find one).
@@gonedeep43 while any mechanic (myself included), could work on it, I'd prefer a bit more experienced in that type of equipment and not just a generic grease monkey. There is a difference.
@TMacPen Agreed. There are shops in the area that work on offroad vehicles, that includes Hisun. Depending where you live? I do all the upkeep maintenance myself. I haven't had any issues that required a shops attention.
How the do in the woulds? Up and down steep hills. My farm has steep hill sides. But the 700 CC atv don't have any problems. But looking for something to hall post and tools fix fincing.
Many years has went into the development of this perfect midsize machine, but no cab enclosures for them....geesh. even big horn power sports has it listed as a option, but they dont exist. its one reason why i bought one, so i could use it in the winter.

I been looking for a Honda pioneer 700 but came across the big horn 400 at tractor supply so you think it would be a good replacement for trail ride and neighborhood drives
I liked the review BUT I was hoping your nephew could have said something about the reliability of these and what breaks the most.Well I know these are fairly new but Hisun has been around for awhile now.overall quality in your opinion?
We haven't had very many problems with the newer units yet. The older units had some injector problems because there were no fuel filters, but they have since corrected that.
Hello. My 80 yr old Dad bought a Coleman 400 UTV Friday and it's Sunday and won't start. Heartbreaking to say the least. It clicks and electrical all comes on but won't turn over. If ANYONE can help me I would be extremely. Very HARD to watch 80 yr old Veteran who FINALLY went on a limb to do something for himself be sick and sad. Thank you, Jessie
Jessie, I really hate to hear you're having issues. He needs to contact the store he bought the machine from, they sometimes have return policies. You may also contact your local Hisun Dealer to see if they can help. Not all dealers service machines from the big box stores but it wouldn't hurt to ask. I can also give you Hisun's contact numbers if you can't get any resolution. Where are you located?

I have a bighorn explorer 400 just like the one in the video. It is jerky on takeoff and sometimes grinds and jumps when I put it in gear. I’m wondering if the engine idle is too high. Can you tell me the rpm at idle on the one you have?
I’ve got 7 acres of hilly tree filled land behind my house. Hoping to clear overgrowth to make some nice trails etc. Which model is good for hill climbing?

I just purchased the Bighorn 400 Explorer. Is there a number I could call to ask a few basic questions concerning some of the LED display on the dash. Have read the manual at least 4 times looking for my answers. But no luck. Thanks for your time.
I just bought an Axis 750 crew. Ran great first 10 hours . Now it runs rough, sputters if I go above 5mph- and yes, I have both the drivers and passenger seat belt buckled. Any ideas what is wrong? Starts right up, idles fine but runs poorly. I only use 91 octane ethanol free gas, checked spark plug, it looks good and not fouled.
Don't know how similar the bighorn 450 is to the 400, but is there and noticable acceleration delay, and I don't know if your video is a good representation, but it seems fairly loud. Is that right?
Hi Bob, sorry the owner's manual isn't very helpful to you. If you need some additional service and maintenance information for your 400, please email us at support@bighornpowersports.com
I see the BigHorn, Mossimo, Hisun, TBoss and MANY other names/models on different websites and they look like they are all the same thing with interchangeable grill logos. None of the specs match from model to model and website to website. Your video is a nice review but I can go to another channel with the exact same looking side by side but a completely different make, model and specs. Please explain this. I understand these are made in China and shipped to you with some assembly required. I'm cool with that. What I'm not cool with is paying $8,000 for something on-line and just keep my fingers crossed that it is what I thought I ordered. The make, model, specs are over the place on every website. Could you explain the process? Who makes what? At this point, regardless of what your channel says, I assume BigHorn and Mossimo are the same kinda like GM and Chevey or maybe one is a cheap knock of the other. I don't know because this whole no-name brand market is too confusing. I'll pay a few grand extra to get a Kawasaki or Polaris just because I understand the market better and know exactly what I'm getting even though I would prefer one of these.
The Massimo and T-boss are the exact same machine made by Linhai. The Axis has the Hisun engine but that's all, it's built by a third party. The Hisun Sector is a completely different machine hands down, minimal problems and great reliability. Always remember buy from a local dealer and not the big box stores.

It could be an Injector or the seat belt sensor. Contact your local Hisun dealer and they should be able to help you if they service the Axis.
Are all your seat belts fastened?
a guy did a video on this he added a 30micron in line fuel filter and replaced injector and that did the trick
Going to ask my Rural king if they will service it. They seem the same thing, basically the same one. They service other tractor models.
Just make sure you can get service

when is the best time to service breakin on the axis 500
The manual calls for 25 hours
The Hisun looks and sounds like an OG Yami Rhino, just cheaper build quality and smaller motor.

How much air pressure should be in those tires?
Really depends on the type of terrain and weight being carried.
I keep mine at 12 Ibs. Seems to be a pretty good pressure for the tires to do everything.
How wide is the bed?
Big horn way louder and how you call it 450 when not even a 400 ..
