@chillichomper Thank you for your comment. The major scale is just one of the diatonic scales which are covered on the site. There will be however, lots of material which is not part of diatonic scales, and it is just a general way of separating them. You are right though, I am trying to convey the correct information and just calling it "C major" would be far more useful.Thanks again.
