I have mixed feelings.
I can't believe we have an alternative where the two ran away together.😭 Some people thought it was selfish and out of character but I don't really think so. It just shows that the two are still very young and the decision to leave came very spontaneously. Sometimes love is selfish and you decide things without thinking about the consequences. BUT it didn't happen...so.
About the kiss... Do not get me wrong. I always wanted the two to kiss ... but not like that. But I still have hope because Ymir smiled when Mikasa kissed him.
She'll bring him back like she brought Zeke back. I really hope so. Eremika deserve to be happy & be together.

It frustrates us, the absolute slow burn and not being proved canon until the very end xd, but it is how it is. Isayama did a beeeauuuutifull job depicting this to us.

Not necessarily relatable but whenever I see these two after reading the final chapter, I somehow relate to their love story that I cry at night. @CreepT3CH Exactly the same for me, I was about 9 back in 2013 when this first came out. I stopped as well after the, what? 4 year wait? And started back up about a year ago, stopped again, and started up when s4 came out. Doesn't even FEEL like Attack on Titan anymore. You don't really realize how quickly time passes until you're looking back at the little things like this.

,, I was on RUclips yesterday and I saw that EreMika became canon but like,, in ways we wish it didn’t happened. But I was looking it up and saw every panel and everything else and I just started crying without even noticing until a teardrop fell onto my screen. Now I’m in pain, tears, and filled with sorrow. Eren Yeager was my #1 comfort character and Mikasa Ackerman going second place, and just seeing all the different alternatives if she would’ve said to him. It hurts my heart, and I’m just in tears because I felt like I’ve lost the only people that understood me. This show, manga, or whatever had just healed my heart and broke it in 2.0 seconds. Forever will I love these two babies. Eren Yeager has been day 1 since I was 12, I went through trauma and shit but Eren Yeager has been there. Just seeing his smile fading has had made me go into tears, and thinking now he’s gone, but knowing Mikasa and him could’ve been so much more. Damn just about to cry as I’m writing this because it hurts my heart, this is so pathetic because I grew so attached to fictional characters that have been through so much more than I have but I can relate and look up towards them and love them. I grew so attached to this main protagonist that it hurts to even see him upset and sad but I’m happy...happy that Mikasa has been there for him throughout all these years, of course, she deserves better but it has always been Eren...

it's possible that eren transferred his consciousness to his head when he saw mikasa coming, just like reiner did in shiganshina. Titan shifters could do that, so there's a slight chance eren's still alive when she kisses him
