    Respectfully, you really want a rep to be able to answer these questions with more confidence than "I believe so". Might just be a turn of phrase for him, but I would say this could leave some grey areas for potential buyers.

      I’ve loved Link for so many years, but they just seem to have disappeared from the uk mainland. And those new videos they are producing just don’t sit right.

    Will the g4x come down in price? I was going to buy one this year for my Subaru STi. My car isn't direct injection and I don't think I need the GPS so I don't think I would see the benefit of the new g5. Am I wrong? Should I wait for the g5?

    A great ECU! already finding loads of advantages with GPS data included in logging - mostly demonstrating the terrible driving but pinpointing accurately events like gear shifts, oil pressure events etc is VERY handy in building a better race car.

    If it can only do 12 injectors how's that work in a v8

      Well one injector per cylinder and don’t quote me on it but I’m sure he said 16

      I think v8s have 8 cylinders so that is less than 12

      @@chippyjohn1 yes I understand that but he was talking about it controlling do well if it has 12 drivers and 8 cylinders to stage in port injection to get the fuel flow we need 16. I rewatched he definitely says you can do this but he also says 12 injector drivers and that you must use them for the di controller too. So how we using this on v8s

      @@oliverscorsim 12 sequential, 16 in total. Have 8 di sequential and have 4 pairs of two in sequential group for Port injectors

    This wasn't great from the Link rep. Didn't instill a lot of confidence!
    I've just moved from the G4+ to an Emton KV8 in my R34.
    And given the price of the G5, I still feel like I made the better choice.

      I have the G4+ thunder - and there isn’t an X equivalent. I have a yearning for the Haltech R5 rather than any Link for an upgrade which is sad.

      @@Lexusturbo I can heartily recommend Emtron. They were great in my pre-sales support, and my R34 is on the dyno as we speak, and it's doing great things with Throttle Mass Flow mapping.
