Going to Universal Studios soon, and I KNOW I want to visit this place. Thank you for giving me the ability to narrow down which milkshake I'd want to try!
We were at Universal Orlando the week between Christmas and New Year's and had a great time. We decided to check out the milkshakes at Toothsome's and really enjoyed it. I got the Strawberry Cheesecake, one sons (21) got the Brownie, and the other (24) got the Key Lime Pie and we all shared. My wife is hypoglycemic and didn't get one. All 3 were wonderful. We knew they would be from the video reviews we saw before our trip. They were not as big as I thought they would be, so I was a little worried at first that we wouldn't be getting our money's worth considering they were about $12 apiece. They were delicious, filling without weighing us down, and the fact they we got slices of pie and brownie was a extra treat. Because of the price, it's something we wouldn't get a lot, but worth getting once a trip. It's also a full service restaurant and was very beautiful inside and out. Would highly recommend.
This just looks so incredibly wasteful and sad considering all this food was sacrificed to the fact that it seems like he really didn't have anything to say at all about anything other than "wow its really good" "This one has vanilla icecream and banana extract. It tastes like a mix of vanilla ice cream and bananas." "Wow this one is different, I could drink this all day" *end of review*
When I went to Universal last year, I had to have the brownie one first. It was so good that I just bought that one the next few times I went. The others look great too, but let me tell you... That brownie shake... It's a good thing we went during the summer and burned off the calories. Thanks for uploading this review!
OMG Taylor! Even just a sip of all of them would put me in a major sugar rush. You’re a champ! Thanks for the video! We hope to get back to Universal next year and I’ll definitely be watching this again to pick one to try. But I’ll definitely be splitting it with my daughter!
Huh, weird, that red velvet is all wrong. Red velvet should be a more acidic chocolate (so it should be a chocolate ice cream with buttermilk or maybe the sour cream ice cream that they use elsewhere mixed with dark chocolate). Vanilla and raspberry is yummy but it's not red velvet. Weird for a chocolate place to get that so wrong
I thought it was just me... I was typing a very similar comment and then scrolled to find this one. I was thrown by the raspberry as that's totally not a "red velvet cake" flavor and the fact that it has no chocolate at all was very odd. The vanilla ice cream I can maybe see because there is typically vanilla extract in a red velvet cake, and in its frosting, but obviously that's very different than a mostly vanilla flavor with raspberry sauce. Again, I'm sure the shake is amazing, but that isn't a red velvet shake, it's a vanilla raspberry shake with a red velvet cupcake.
Toothsome seems to have done a great job overall, but what's with the "Chocolate x5" only having 4 types of chocolate in it? Just call it "Chocolate x4." Why lie about it? And wtf is with the red velvet one having raspberry sauce in it? I love red velvet and I HAAAATE when I get something that's supposed to be red velvet and it tastes fruity. That's just a sign that the person creating it has no idea of what red velvet is and just thinks it's chocolate with cherry/strawberry/raspberry. Red velvet should have NO fruity taste whatsoever.
I recommend using a dictionary to find new words if you're doing a video trying to describe something to people. "wow" "nice" and "good" on almost EVERY shake didn't really describe anything for me.

Since red velvet is chocolate dyed red they made the sauce raspberry to match the color.
