- My autonomous yard robot arrived! This thing has some impressive features like autonomous follow me and towing capabilities. 2024 Yarbo Core with the Smart Assist Module (SAM). Its a yard robot that use high precision GPS with RTK for centimeter accurate driving. This machine can take multiple front modular attachments for all your yard work tasks like mowing, leaf blowing, snow blowing, snow plowing and more! It even has a trailer hitch for towing. @l5r90 thanks for the compliments. I can't say I am an expert on YT. I just try to cover unique topics or ones that arent well covered. And I go more on depth than most others. That's a pro and a con depending on who is watching but I just stick to my methods and hope it resonates with my viewers! And of course adapt as needed to keep growing.

@PaulWerner seems to work pretty well. This video shows the first time I clicked "start" and it just simply worked and started following me around.
How is the Yarbo on gravel for snow removal?
@DonnieDarko727 I dont typically use it for snow removal on my gravel but I know people that do. There is a setting for the auger (or plow) height based on area so you can have it raise the blower when over gravel.
They should license Tesla’s FSD (Full Self Driving), it is way more than “Follow Me”, it’s going to be completely autonomous…
@@mwolrich this does have fully autonomous driving in a mapped area. For things like snow blowing and grass mowing.
@ That’s my point, FSD doesn’t require any “mapping”, it uses pure vision with multiple (7) cameras and AI to navigate the world, no “mapping” required, just set it down and it will see the edges of your driveway (snow-blowing), and plants/trees, fences etc for mowing.. you’d probably only have to set the maximum “work area” (just 4 points if its a square) to avoid snow-blowing the street, or mowing your neighbors yard 😬
Tesla FSD is actively mapping with its vision, requires continuous supervision by the driver including hands on the wheel at all times (www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/modely/en_us/GUID-2CB60804-9CEA-4F4B-8B04-09B991368DC5.html) and requires the driver to begin/set destination so it knows where to go. I work at GM so I'm very partial to GM's Super Cruise that is actually capable of "self driving" with no feet on the pedals or hands on the wheel and we've been doing that since 2016. I use Super Cruise on my work commute and its great. It does leverage mapping and is currently constrained to limited access freeways for the most part. Yarbo today exceeds Tesla's "FSD" capability from an autonomous standpoint.
@ Version 13 was released, it’s very close to being completely autonomous, this is what will be powering Teslas CyberCabs, Tesla is much closer to a vision only, AI powered self driving car, than Waymo or Cruise, who have much more expensive solutions that require geofencing (not a generalized solution). Drop a Tesla with R13 FSD in China, or Europe, it can drive as well as it does in the US. It has almost zero interventions now, and drivers report multiple hour, parking lot to parking lot drives with zero interventions, and R13 can also now park itself. FYI, Teslas CyberCab has no steering wheel, or pedals, and will be entirely powered by FSD and AI Vision.
