No idea what your background is though
Theres a couple of major lore dumps in this email. 1. Coach Z got all the “great for baby” items from strongbads “Gar-ba-dge” sale, because of his RHB he’d be caring for. 2. The characters in The Strongbad universe are actually human, despite their invisible arms, broom-like frames, and elephant-like feet. You know this, because of “RHB” specifically calling the baby a human
I remember having to look after a flour bag in high school. I was already dead set on not having kids, and I was so annoyed I had to do this project (which was half of my grade if I remember correctly) that I named the thang ding "Dolores" after Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter. Because my feelings were about the same. I remember being baffled at the other girls that dressed up their flour bags in cute clothes and baby talked them, though I suppose that just proves they would be better suited as parents than I would. Hopefully we get another sbemail in 2023 and not 2032. Keep it up Matt and Mike, this didn't just make my day or week, it made the whole dang season for me.
I think that we might get one next April fools.
Why not both?
The fact that they can't keep straight the Ponders of Warenting brings a smile to my face.
The Donders of Warranty
the jodhpurs of clarencing
The Jumpers of Quarantine?
(Are those the ones that got Strong Sad sent to jail that one time?)
The Yonders of Xarenting
The shut ups of that lady!
Yes new email on today of all days. Strong Bad is the best.
YESSSSS
The fact that Mike knew to come to Strong Bad indicates that he’s gonna be a god tier parent
I feel like I learned so much about being a parent from this video, like how scary Marzipan can be.
When I first got into Strong Bad Emails, I was in middle school with no thoughts of having a child.
Now I am 30 with no HOPES of having a child instead. Time flies!
Relatable. lol
yeah, same
Love yall
My EXACT situation.
it's pretty funny that they have cell phones and tablets, those things are what, millions of times more powerful than strong bad's laptop
Given how long it's been and the general progression over time I'd guess the Lappier is at least a Core 2 Duo.
@@TheVincentKyle could you really get a core 2 duo in 90s Officeworker Beige(tm) because most laptops were Sleek New Century Black Electronics (tm) colored
Strongbad likely has a BlackBerrèe or something like that
@@MamboCat84 You nailed it.
Strong Bad perpetually uses the oldest technology he can get away with. Pretty sure the first thing he does whenever he gets a new machine is -bully- ask Strong Sad how to open the command prompt.
As someone who started watching this in middle school and now is one month away from my first child being born, this seams like perfect timing.
That's oddly wholesome, just as long as you don't follow any of this advice. XD
@@catbatrat1760 o don't worry this was all placed in the what not to do category. 🤣
If you live in a Christian family or certain environment atleast they all have to have kids and push them unto everyones relatives, and they usually never shut up about them being in the center of everything, i mean whats even the point of relatives if one doesnt have common interest to begin with?.
Also, love the phrase "co-parent."
Dolores means "Pains." Perfect baby name.
🎵The best part of waking up, is not having kids!🎶
Caught this at 24 minutes old. So fresh it isn’t even on the HR WIKI yet. Thanks guys!!!!
Lucky. I caught it at 2 hours old.
Caught this at 5 hours.
Awe crap. I caught it at 7 days old. Why didn't I get a notification?
This is one of the funniest SBemails that you've done and that's saying something. I'm not sure how you can have both dead-on observational humor and off-the-wall absurdist humor, but you do both extremely well.
Even on April Fools day, new Homestar Runner content is always welcome
You misspelled “Especially” 😉
Its really weird to think that Strong Bad and The Cheat were arguably the best parents in this situation.
Strong Bad taking such good care and being so protective of his pudding bag was surprisingly wholesome.
In all sincerity, thank you for creating this ridiculous cast of characters. It's still one if the best things to come from the internet and helped me through some challenging times.
Never in my life did I expect Strong Bad to say the words 'vape shop'.
Well Dangeresque had a cigarette burning away in an ashtray on his desk and Strong bad is always drinking "cold ones" which are clearly beers. This isn't actually that far off from his normal brand of humor.
@@CaptainTripps420 It's not the smoking so much as the reference to something modern that didn't exist in the vaguely '80s '90s times.
me neither.
I'm literally about to become a first time dad in about a month. This email could not have come at a more opportune time
Can't fool us with this "gingrich" nonsense Mr. Morkleson.
And you are called Mike.. Did you email? Is Gingrich your real last name?
You really do wanna make sure you're always in a wi-fi hotspot though
Ditto!
Make sure you keep the baby alive for the first month to get your bag of pistachio pudding.
Great, I'm gonna be singing "The Ponders of Waranting~!" for the next forever, thanks Brothers CHaps
It's not a true Homestar video unless it permanently alters your vocabulary.
The Jodhpurs of Clarencing
@@LowCountryMatt The Pollers of Watering
5:00 Wow! I can't believe you gave us an EXCLUSIVE sneak peek at Netflix's upcoming animated programming!!!
I'm 100% convinced that "pudwad" was a subtle reference to old game map files: .puds (Warcraft maps) and .wads (Doom maps)
Knowing TBC, that's almost certainly what they were getting at.
@@deadmetalbr They have referred to .wads a couple times I think.
As somebody who's been called The Cheat for the last 16 years it warms my heart to see a new SBEmail.
I love that the cartoons are still in 4:3
I don't know how you got people to start calling you that. But I envy you.
@@drathmoor My whole group was really into H*R when we were kids and we did that thing where we decide who's most like which character and I got The Cheat. It was the only one that actually stuck and now it's been my nickname for more than half my life
@@TheCheat420 nice origin story, the cheat.
jk
@@TheCheat420 Still envious.
That’s badass, The Cheat.
It’s about time we got a new installment of this legendary series.
Yes indeed. It's been far too long.
apparently this email took 4 years to make according to the email from kickstarter I just got:
"Fellow Keepers of Trogdor,
It has been many years! Remember back in 2018 when one of the Stretch Goals in our campaign for Trogdor!! The Board Game was that we'd make a Strong Bad Email from a question submitted by our backers?
No? Neither do most folks, prolly!
...
But WE remembered and now, after 4 years, we finally finished the thang ding!"
And for just 10 minutes, everything was lovely once again, WONDERFUL.
Lots of good new one liners in this one. "Don't ever wink at me again" is sure to be on their next greatest hits album.
I remember back in elementary school when I will get a new strong bad email every Monday. now nearly 15 years later I have a kid of my own, and I've never related with homestar runner more than I do today.
thank you, the brothers chap! you have been an integral part of my life, and this continuation of your legacy so if it's my heart to the point where I am glad to share this with my new children. thank you, from the bottom of my heart thank you!
The simple eye-lowering of Strong Bad at Homestar's foolishness just PROVES that Strong Bad is no longer the villain here.
If you ask me, Strong Bad phased out of being a villain, but still has his mischievous qualities.
@@vestonbruno2795 And we wouldn't have him any other way! ^w^
As someone who grew up on H*R and SBemail, and who just became a dad a month ago, this and the Diaps video have been super timely. “Diaps” has become common vernacular around my home
2:52 - Strong Mad's origami skills have improved considerably! 👍🏻
Is that supposed to be the crane?
@@pikminfan6778 I remember a scene in another sbemail where Strong Mad was messing around with balls of crumpled paper saying they were origami paper crafts (I couldn't tell you which one though).
@@danielbrant6740 I think it was Unused Emails
He still forgot to scrimshaw left.
Well, now we know why Coach Z was buying up all the baby items at garage sales
I am so incredibly happy that RUclips is the perfect venue for Homestarrunner!
I'm glad to see the Homestar universe still going strong (bad) after all these years!
My eldest was born in 2003, 3 days after I turned 21. Next month he graduates highschool. Tonight we're gonna rewatch this together before he goes off to work. Good time.
It would be really funny to me if they received this e-mail like a decade ago and have been sitting on this idea that whole time.
Strongbad’s tweet said he finally finished this 4 years later, so you’re in the ballpark
at 6:15 his little mutters include "indignant?" and I think that's beautiful
After not checking homestar since the hiatus back in 2017 or so this popped up today. The comedy still holds up. So strange to see smart phones and tablets floating around though lol.
They did a reverse fool on us! We expected a joke but they gave us something legitimate!!!
I watched strong bad as a kid, and now that my first is on the way THIS comes out??? I'm over the moon!
Expecting nothing from Homestar Runner and getting the first full-length email in years. Truly the greatest April Fool's Day prank ever conceived.
I love how this series hasn’t changed a bit, a walking time capsule going strong 💪
I didn't realize I needed this today until I got it today. Thanks for this today. Today.
As a guy who just became a dad less than a week ago, this is really helpful advice! Thanks!
I'm sending this to a friend who's a new parent....perfect for April Fool's.
This is really surprising to me because last night I predicted that Strong Bad Email #209 would come out today. Can't wait for #210! Unbelieveable work you guys!
whenever there's new Homestar stuff it feels like I'm checking in with an old friend and picking up right where I left off with them, whether it's a 10 minute email or 1 minute of Homestar singing about diapers. Because you never really knew what you'd get every Monday in 2006 anyway. I'm so happy we still get these.
.....Okay, I can't be the only one whose jaw was left hanging open by "It's very important that she doesn't know how much we hate each other until she's in college." Tranqil fury Marzipan is officially the best character in all of _Homestar Runner_ history.
