    It is depressing to see the State Hotel in Gwalia in such a bad way, every time I'm up there I get great pangs of sadness when I see the grand old lady in such a state of disrepair.

      Yup, they are just allowing it to rot. That hotel should belong to the people of W.A. not some greedy mining company that doesn't care about its historic value.

    USA 🇺🇸 president Hoover lived in Kalgoorlie before he became president..i wonder how many people know that?
