My 30oz Zak from Target was about $8 a few years ago. No handle, but I got a neoprene carrier that’s got strap long enough to be carried as a crossbody. I think that was $8 or so too. So together they were 1/3 the price of a Stanley cup. And it does keep my drinks cold for hours.

Ordering especially on Amazon is really annoying lately. So many products make claims they don't produce on. I feel like a lot of these "companies" are only in the business of selling items and hoping the majority don't ask for refunds.

Yes, I read lots of reviews both on Amazon, and online, before I order anything on Amazon. Did you do something different with your editing or hardware? I'm watching this on an older, 1080p LED TV, and it looks amazing!

Only a pink pouch, unless they're going for some 80s vibe or something you would think they would have another color available. Well I suppose this would work for drinking in public in a pinch, better than brown bagging I guess

The leak proof bit is a throw in with the pouch i'd never expect it to be good, As for the pouch i'd have no use for it and i would not want to leave my valuable attached to a cup, an object that would easy for someone to grab and walk off with and draw no notice from any one.
The molds work but that is way more ice than i typical use with a cold drink as i hate my drinks getting watered down as the ice melts, i likely would not buy this mold but even if i did i would only use it when i was drinking water.

I went to my local Ace Hardware store, and they had a half dozen Stanley cups sitting on the counter . I think that the hype is over.

The reason the straw probably quit leaking is because you push the straw through from the top instead of from the bottom which made a better seal around the straw

The pouch color is ridiculous! The anti-leak parts are ok, but I think they are pretty much unnecessary. I really like the ice mold. I am going to buy one of those. I use a Costco knockoff Stanley Cup and hopefully the ice will fit my tumbler. Worth a try. I currently use sphere ice molds. I like them because they melt slowly. It will be interesting to see how the new mold will work.

The big cubes actually have a smaller surface area exposed to the liquid than regular ice cubes and far less than pelletized or crushed ice.

would an ice rod work even better? Like, turning the mould inside out?

@@perseverates Probably but the trade off is that you'd have less fluid in a liquid state to enjoy and quench your thirst.

9:33.... so you used 16oz of water to make the ice cubes, put them in a 40oz. cup, and were shocked that it would only hold 24oz of liquid after? That's basic math. 40 - 16 = 24 😁😂 Sorry... I couldn't help it. I HAD to. Not sure if it would be that useful though unless you were re-filling your cup often. I probably wouldn't spend my money on either. Enjoyed the reviews though! 👍👍
