      Hello again Alien! I've never seen this precise set up before but obviously it works but already I can see possible adjustments for different types of presentations. I know that you said in our other conversations that you have caught some huge fish! What is your personal best on running line and pole? Hope all is well. Neil. ....

    Hello there, yes is the answer to your asked question's, the advise and production making, for the Rig are spot on, they will allow ALL types of Feeders, {as the Man Andrew stated whlist showing there making}, and are user friendly, the usage of your own type of hook/adaption, is definately for your choice too, have Fun using this Rig, over here in Ireland, especially on Open water type fishing, the Rig tightens up, easilly enough, of course most fisheries have hidden folage and or snags present, so always if possible, to stop any blame, for the Rig being made wrong or it's negativity, like pole fishing plumb around without the Hooklength fitted first, suss out your chosen distance throw, if all bodes to suite your idea's, on goe's the hooklink, fill up your chosen type of feeder/s..and yep Enjoy the experience..Tight Lines

    Hi Andrew, sounds interesting, what is the weight you recomend to use and what is your expirience with the hook ratio?
    Cheers

      Hi,
      I would recommend to use this rig without adapting carper's mindset (the heavier the lead, the better the hook-ups ratio). I would advice to use hooks according to bait used (but as sharp as possible) and feeder weight should be according to situation as well - there is no need to fish extra heavy without the need.
      This rig does aid self-hooking being safe at the same time.
      Cheers

    what u prefer more this one or paternoster rig ? am beginner one can learn alot from you thanks for sharing ! Am into crucian/bream fishing

    • @AndrewsKnots
      @AndrewsKnots  4 года назад +1

      Depends really but at the of the day both rigs will be very effective in most situations! 👍
      For Crucians maybe Paternoster will be a bit better as it's more delicate.

    Andrew... I bought the components to try this rig for bream but I've noticed the 2mm bead passes over the 4lb fluorocarbon surgeons knot. Just tied an extra knot?

    Next questions could be is the rig allowed in the World cup Feeder?

    • @AndrewsKnots
      @AndrewsKnots  5 лет назад +2

      I don't think that CIPS/FIPSED officers would allow it. 👌
      But I know that this rig is safer than most anglers at International Feeder matches use. the one with glass bead for feeder link, which has very small hole and then shockleader knot can't pass through that bead..

      @@AndrewsKnots this means that this feeder links is Also illegal

      @@AndrewsKnots another thing is that the self hooking mechanism takes away the hooking skill from the angler
