Zoom MS70CDR - Part 002: How do the switches work

  • This is next instalment.
    Previously we dismantled the MS70CDR.
    Now we probe the internals to determine how the momentary switches work.
    There are 5 for the up/left/down/right/select and 3 more (one per endless encoder).
    In a later video we will see that Zoom assembles the encoders in different orientations - this was confusing the hell out of me!
    BUT at the end of this research I was able to see that the B1XFour Remote Control PCB could be used to switch these momentary switches on a Zoom MS70CDR.
    We will discover that the endless encoders present a new challenge, but this is ultimately resolved. Stay tuned and add a like if you found this useful.
