- In this video we break down what steering stabilzers do, and more specifically what stabilzers are the best fit for your 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and newer Dodge Ram 2500 or 3500 truck. We look at the Carli high mount, low mount, and dual opposing system to break down why someone would need one or both of these stabilizers.

I got my stabilizer about a year ago and it's a great upgrade for any truck
I'm so close to getting the whole carli suspension on my 2014 . I haven't driven my truck in 6 months now . Cause my factory suspension is crap now and I only want the best for BIGDOGG !

Do recommend upgrading drag link or steering on a 15 ram 3500 for the “recall” on the steering and does that play wheel with upper and lower steering stabilizers from Carli?
What is your take on Through Shaft Stabilizers? Also are their compatibility issues with either high or low mount stabilizers when it comes to Synergy Tie Rods and Drag Links?
The purpose of a through shaft stabilizer is to have a completely neutral damping unit with no push or pull, and without having to do a dual stabilizer to counteract fluid/nitrogen displacement. They're awesome if you have an application with no tire pull and want the truck to drive straight. The only catch is that most of these trucks have some sort of tire pull, so that's where these come into play.
Synergy Steering is unique in that it does not play well with stabilizers, particularly on the 14+ Ram platform discusses here. That linkage will ONLY work with the stock, stab or two fox part numbers listed on our product page. It is not compatible with any Carli stabilizers. Apex steering is a new and good alternative that opens up more possibilities for stabilizer upgrades. We just started to carry it on our site because of that!

I already have the Carli Level kit for my 2022 3500 18" rims and 35x11.5 tires. Mainly used for towing and some light offroad. What would you recommend first....... Steering stabilizers or sway bar?
It all depends on what you're truing to accomplish since they have very different purposes. The torsion sway bar is designed to improve the front end ride quality by stopping the transfer of energy from the suspension to the cab in situations where the axle needs to flex out. Instead of throwing you into the cab when entering a driveway or going through a rut, the torsion sway bar lets the front end move independently and glide right over an obstacle. The stabilizer reduces steering wheel feedback from potholes and uneven road surfaces. Either way it's a step in the right direction!
If you're only going to get one, wouldn't it be better to get the Carli high mount vs. swapping out the OEM with the Carli low mount? Is it just the fact that low mount is the cheapest option why people gravitate towards that?
Do you have any vidoes showing upgrades on a 2011 Dodge Ram 2500? That's what I have, and it also has the 6.7 CTD engine. I really want to upgrade my suspension with a Carli 3 inch leveling kit. My truck is primarily a commuter truck, but I do some trail and off road driving, no racingt or jumping. I would also like to replace the front end sway bar with Carli's softer swaybar for a smoother ride and greater articulation. The new steering stablilzers you showed here look like they would help my truck a lot too.
We have several on our channel actually. Your truck falls under the 03-13 category, so while there's tuning changes and spring rate changes between years, any of those videos will be relevant to your truck. Based on your description, the backcountry system with the full leaf spring packs, sway bar, and the opposing stabilizer setup would be perfect! Here's a video with that suspension setup:

is the low mount adequate for a 2500 ram running 37" nitto ridge grapplers? it will mostly be a road truck in the summer and hunting all winter. also if it is not and its recommended to get the high mount as well does that work with the synergy drag link?
That's completely adequate! Sadly the high mount doesn't work with Synergy steering, but you won't need it for your application anyways.
Looking to get an 2009 ram with trx4 package. Looking for a suspension setup for daily driving light tow hauling here and there. In the NYC area of driving those crater potholes

Is there an at home nitro charge kit that y’all would recommend? I have the carli low mount and would like to dial it in without depending on a shop
We're working on it, but at this time there is not. The best option for now is to get the stabilizer charged to about 200 psi at a local 4 wheel parts etc, and then use a mountain bike shock pump to drain pressure as needed. 40-70 psi is neutral, and anything up from that will push in the direction of extension accordingly.

Have a full Carli Kit, including high and low steering stabilizers on a 21 PW. Any reason or need to add something like the Dodge Offroad Steering Brace?
Not really. They make sense on the older open C frame 2nd gens etc, but there's not much of a benefit on the fully boxed 03+ trucks. They've gained in popularity since they're a cheap bolt on item, but we never use them on our personal trucks. If you do want one, we recommend the Synergy version since it works with Carli and Thuren sway bars. Most other options to not.

What will fix 2019 ram 2500 bed bounce on concrete highways? On only concrete highway the bed bounce like its going to break the truck apart. Fox shock front and back, carli torsion sway bar installed and only noticed a 15% improvement with 50 psi tires.
50 psi tires and stock coils are your issues! New shocks will help in the back, but you're still fighting a rock hard tire and high spring rate. If you have an aftermarket all terrain tire, we recommend 40psi max when unloaded in the back. If you do the chalk line test, you can likely drop into the 30s unloaded. That will dramatically help with ride, and actually put you into the correct pressure range for your truck.
What coils do you recommend for the rear that wont affect tow numbers too much, the R1?
I have the Thuren front coil for it to sit level already from you guys and front and rear fox shock.

That's correct.
At what point would a steering stabilizer not be the best choice and someone would need a PSC hydro assist?
We recommend PSC Hydro for guys doing a lot of low speed crawling. That kind of use completely overpowers the factory box, so Hydro fills in for the extra force that's needed.
What pressure are they set at from Carli?
Your stock wheels are likely +45 to +50 which is more tucked in that 0 offset. With a 0 offset, you push the wheel further from the radius arms and sway bar, without going so far that it puts it way into the body of the truck.
are you ever gonna start carrying 21+ F150 kits? Seems like you have it all except kit for F150's.
I think all of their kits are for straight axle trucks
We do our best to focus on the solid axle platforms, but sell plenty of Icon systems for F-150s as well!
