The only thing I'd add is that I line the top padding with a microfibre as I'm not really sure if polyeurethane will scratch some of the more delicate metals like polished steel or eapecially gold. I've been thinking of wrapping all the padding in microfiber... but... overally its not the biggest concern and I have little time! Maybe there's a market for it!
I've been debating taking out one additional row to frame the watch heads, and to allow the watches to sit a little lower in the box. Not sure if I will go that route.
I do the same but with a pelican, which is overkill. Looking good, especially for 10 slot. The pelican range is too thick and you have to step all the way up to their laptop case to get something thin. But then it's good for about 25 unfortunately.
Yes the Nanuk is definitely lighter than the Pelican cases and probably less robust overall. I do love my pelican cases but probably overkill for watches.
@@burbinghardActually, Nanuk are more robust and better designed. I've seen a few torture test videos comparing multiple case brands, and Pelican didn't even finish top 3, whereas Nanuk was no. 1. Being lighter doesn't mean it's weaker, as it has much better shock absorption properties.
@@burbinghardYeah, their prices are very good. Although, I think Nanuk also sell a 10 watch box (with better quality foam than the standard pick and pull) for around the same price, which I'd probably go for if I had that many watches. 😅
Agree. I usually don't have more than 3 on me at a time. One on the wrist and two in single leather pouches. The leather pouches conceal easy inside whatever bag I am carrying that day.
How would you compare the santos med and the bb58 blue, i was contemplating between the two, the price different is not really a concern for me I just cant figure which one i like more.
had a similar solution at my last deployment which made it easy to travel with all the watches i bought during "lockdown" hahaha
Dang!!! It's pretty nice!! I'm gonna need one of these for my KIA or Hyundai!
I just ordered a 910. Can’t wait to see this vid!
Great vid Burbs! This is the case you need when you are about to make a deal with Pablo!
Exactly :)
Really good idea 💡
If I had 10 watches I'd certainly get this case, but with the Guard Dog Foam Inserts inside.

This is nice. Thanks for the video

@@burbinghardBtw, To The Hour sell various Pelican watch cases, so I wouldn't say it's overkill for an expensive watch collection.
@@StardustLegacyFighter looks like a 10 watch case from them in a comparable size is about $200usd. Not a bad option.

So the pelican 1170 is a great option if you only want 3 or 4 slots. I tend to hover at that at most and the rest in the bank.

1150 would be big enough for 3 watches tbh.
To The Hour sell them with custom foam inserts, and a slot for accessories.
Great setup, maybe add a hidden AirTag!
🤫 don’t tell anyone my secret! 😂 that’s the plan though.

Where can I order a case like this from?
I picked up the 910 off Amazon.
I think the mustache a bit too thick.
😂 I completely agree
