THis is a masterpiece of a song that for me I think sums up all the angst of the time the Edge in particular was going through.. THis for me is his song and climaxes the whole album.... Love that they are playing this live also.

I've been saying it since the awful Joshua Tree Anniversary tour, it's time for Bono and the boys to hang it up and.... Fade away.

Given the technology of The Sphere, they could have done something really special with the visual production of this song-- instead we got a cool and pleasant looking screen saver. It's nice and all, but nothing great. The 360 version of UV will go down as the best.
I thought the same. I thought the whole point of them playing in the sphere was the visuals. But there's nothing to see here. Same with "Until the End of the World," I was expecting some crazy Apocalypse Now shit. Instead, what they presented was very underwhelming.

I sorta get that they don't want to oversaturate the audience, so a balance needs to be struck. I get that, but they may have been too conservative about it.
@@benmac6147absolutely the opposite. Any other band that would have gone on here first, would have done for visuals for every single song nonstop. Only a seasoned and wise band like U2 know that you have to have the intimacy of darkness to create connection with the crowd.
Bono your voice is done (been saying this for 20 years) it’s getting embarrassing now and the band’s legacy is getting more and more damaged as time goes on… I hero worshipped this man for so long but now his voice and lack of passion just irritates me. I guess I’ll just hold onto the memories of 80’s/90’s U2…
