SWOT observations, New Caledonia to Aotearoa New Zealand, June 11th 2023 12 UTC:track 4, right side.

This video shows swell resolved in SWOT SSH (in blue) and radar backscatter (grey shades) data, as the satellite flies along track 004 over the Pacific Ocean as part of cycle 548. The video captures the New Caledonia coral reef and lagoon system and passes very close to Norfolk island that is a strong source of wave scattering and finishes in shallow water next to the coast of NZ.
