    Hmm old is gold but Caterpillar is more precious. I heard by my ideal my dear father that he had had to run pony engines in starting of Caterpillar old TTT and cable control operation machines. And today just watched these running machines in precious videos. Caterpillar my family passion my bread n butter.

    There were so many great companies building great earth moving equiptment. All American made.now it's all Komatsu, & Dawoo & other foreign crap. At least Cat & John Deere are still around

      Hi! That's a Cat D8 or D9 with a narrow blade. It was mainly used for push loading scrapers in the 1970s. - Dani

    My 955 has only 2 wires ,,,,a black and a red,,,,my d5n has enuff wires 2 wire a house. The old cats were no bout built heavier,but the newer cats are comfy
