Additionally, I want to tell you how much I appreciate your video title... it is very distinctive from the tutorials on how to size pictures for the listings on Etsy... I've been having a harder time finding the instructionals on how to create the files that will actually go to the customers!
It is generous and kind of you to share your experience, knowledge and templates. Thank you! I bought some art from you in 2019, and you've inspired me to try my hand at selling some of my own art on Etsy. This video was very helpful. Just liked and subscribed, and will watch your other videos with great interest. Cheers!
I'm just starting out myself...I've started creating original art that I want to sell...the free download of size guides and PSD files are great, thank you!
This is so incredibly helpful! Thank you so much for a very thorough and raw tutorial, Brandon! I've been researching so much regarding what the most time-efficient method of exporting multiple images for printables was (from automated batches to custom PS actions) and this just makes the process simple and clean.
Great video.. Just set up an Etsy Shop this week and now I can see that I will be editing every single one of my listings... 😂. I've been doing a single file, now that I see this it only makes sense to have the 5 different so the end user is able to do as they please. Now once I get this done.. I'm going to pray for a sale lol
@@brandontimothycan I ask a question? I’ve managed to covert my digital wall art into 5 different sizes but how do I actually add that to ETSY? I can’t see a variation option like physical products? I just see the option to upload 5 files but I’m not sure how the customer is able to chose the size they want? Thanks
@@magssmwhen the customer buys the file, they will get 5 files of different sizes, and they will print out the size they need. No variations needed, just add all the aspect ratios in the listing
Thanks mate. That was exactly what I was missing. I've already done a heap of art. I was just waiting to find the sizes so I can upload them to Etsy and other print on demand places. Thank you for your generosity.
New subscriber here. Thanks so much for the templates, Brandon! So many RUclipsrs talk about how to make money with digital art, but none share so much detail! I appreciate you!
Hahaha OMG I'll have to watch this one about 10 times, maybe then I'll get it! I always thought I was a fast learner... until now! Thanks for this video! Great help, truly! :)
Great Video! Thank you for including the sizing templates! The sizing has been stopping me from designing. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for your time and help!
I have watched it earlier too. Came in yt suggestion three times. I woujd like to see step by step on etsy wall art till product listing and learn n do.
I rarely comment on video but I HAVE to thank you for this!! I was getting so confused and this is the exact video i was looking for. Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!
If your image is pixels (JPEG), convert it to a vector format (SVG). Then you can scale up to an image the size of a billboard if you could find a paper printer to process it! There will be no blurry pixilizations, faceted colors or ragged edges.
Great video, thanks for your insight! I actually made a script that resizes one image to all those ratios automatically and saves them as new files with the ratio in the name. I got so tired to do this with all my images hehe
@carnegard I did almost the same thing. I commissioned a javascript programmer to create the script for me but I didn't have it resize the photos because no javascript can properly decide the cropping the image when you go from say a 2:3 Ratio to a 4:5 Ratio. That's something that takes a human eyeball and preference for what might be clipped by the ratio difference. Just my take on it anyway. I might see if further scripting could help but I heard of someone who tried the same thing and while it did the job, the images just didn't come out the way the artist expected and consequently some customers might not be happy. Since reviews on Etsy and other forums plan a big role, I'd rather eyeball it. Perhaps AI will get into everyday scripting but we're not quite there yet.
@@musictheory4u153 You can have someone prepare a script for you. I did... but I didn't go as far as the resizing and cropping. To me that takes a good human eye.
Thank you very much. I need this information in order to set up my Etsy shop to sell my photography. I'm very thankful and will be using this video for reference, as well as consulting your other videos. Much thanks!
Thank you so much for this. I dont know how to use adobe photoshop but all your information on sizes was sooooo helpful. You may think your talking alot but its all really helpful. To me anyway. Thanks mate.
New to picture / poster selling. This video is awesome. The download also works with Affinity Photo / Designer, which is a great, cheap alternative to paying PS / AI SUBSCRIPTIONS. Liked and Sub'd. Thanks.

Thank you so much, i am very gratefull to you! Saved my life,my time and keep me away from lots of worrying and confusion as i am new to all this. Thank you!
@@gabrielamunteanu8795 Did you figure this out? It's essentially a 1:1 Ratio 4x4, 8x8, 10x10, etc.. You just either create it that way or if your art is perhaps a 2:3 ratio you have to put in in the 1:1 Ratio size you want and crop it so it displays the best part of your art. Some cropping is going to occur regardless unless you make larger artwork real small so it fits within your square borders.
