Wetheral Road! If you are familiar with Owerri, you will know that popular saying. "Mpa gi onwere ulo na Wetheral" which translates to Your papa get house for Wetheral. Wetheral is a very important and revered part of Otown.
Hi zee, please when you're doing your tour videos...always try to carry your viewers along by taking and telling them places you pass while going to your eventual destination..I think that's the essence of tour videos..ALWAYS KEEP YOUR ROAD TRIPS/TOURS DETAILED TO YOUR VIEWERS.
Lady Zee, I like you Blog. You remind me of those days in my home town. But when you drove past Emekuku town, I was expecting to see a picture of my Alma Mata, Emekuku Comprehensive Secondary School, but you drove so fast that I could not see it. Achorom shi ma'gi hu ma m'yoduo Christmas. No matter how long one spends overseas, our home is still our home. I like to see more of village life. Thanks, Lady Zee. Dr Darlington Egbu
Enjoying your video about your trip via Emekuku. Looking forward to the ugba and isi ewu you have promised to serve this December at the Owerri airport as a welcome back dish for us in the diaspora. I hope you are a good cook or chef. Curious about your view concerning the level of Covid-19 outbreak in the Owerri environs and the general attitude and adoption of mask wearing and social distancing in the town and surrounding communities.
So far from the official report we have just a few cases recorded in Imo state, with each passing day we see dwindling attitudes towards the pandemic. Most people no longer wear mask and I can’t say if truly people observed social distancing at all
I LOVED YOUR VIDEO, IT REMINDED ME OF WHEN I WAS 16/17 YRS OLD, MY OLDER COUSINS AND I USED TO COME UP FROM OWERRI WEST ALL THE WAY UP TO LANARK SUPERMARKET AND RESTAURANT BY JUST BEFORE EMEKUKU FOR A MEAL THEN WE HEAD UP TO A MOTEL CALLED LA' PECH IN AZARA-EGBELU. THIS WAS IN 1986 , 87, BEFORE MY FOLKS YANKED ME BACK TO LONDON. ALTHOUGH I DIDNT GO UP TO THAT TREE THAT LOVE BIRDS MET BUT I STILL FOUND A BIT OF LOVE UP THOSE ENDS . THE BEST FUN I HAD AS A TEENAGER WAS ALWAYS IN THE TOWNS AND VILLAGES ON THE OUTSKIRSTS OF OWERRI.
@@zeeondemand I STARTED TOURING NIGERIA VERY EARLY . I REMEMBER THERE WAS A LOVELY LADY THAT WORKED IN THAT LANARK SUPERMARKET CALLED JULIET FROM EMEKUKU AND SHE LOOKS A BIT LIKE YOU I THOUGHT YOU WERE RELATED
You tried so much. But you did not allow us to see some of the landmarks, Jehovah Jireh Anglican Church, All Saints Cathedral, Afor Egbu, and At Awaka we could see not Holy Trinity. The Mansion you were talking about belongs to Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho that is his country home. Emekuku High School you did not mention it. Mission Junction, Mount Carmel, Holy Rosary Hospital. Okitankwo river, nkwo emeke, Comprehensive secondary school. E.T.C. So next time try and pick these land marks, people will like to see them. God bless you.

Pls. is it only using our lands building houses, that's what we called an investment. what of Agriculture, Farming and every other powerful things that can move the states or our nation more forward.
Nice vlog! Thanks, for sharing. I can't wait to see the other parts! I agree that taking the pains to make a video, only to fast-forward nearly 90% of it makes no sense. You could edit out the areas you don't want to show, then allow the viewers to enjoy the video. Nne, biko, its IGBO not ibo! Don't accept the derogatory way they want to forcibly change our identity. If we respect every tribe in Nigeria writing out their name such as Isan instead of Ishan, Yoruba instead of Yoroba, Itsekiri instead of Ishekiri, then IGBO should not be written as Ibo or Eboe. Never fall into the class of people that allow others to change your identity to what they like. No matter how many times they mischievously write Ibo, always remember you are IGBO!
I will come back for Xmas if everything goes well, because here in Asia, there are still many new cases of covid19 , so if the airlines are free to fly then, I will come back for Xmas, please nne keep ugba for me, thanks.
I hope everybody is seen what they're calling roads in Igbo land, what's wrong with Igbo politicians, very wicked! Only in Igbo land roads have potholes, you don't talk about footpaths, people and vehicles using the same lanes, everywhere so dusty.
🙆🏽♂️ wow everywhere changed to the extent I couldn’t locate where my school (Comprehensive Sec.Sch.) is. Anyway, twenty eight years is a whole lot of years.
Why is it that an average Nigerian think that their saviour will come from diaspora? The same variables in life you have in Nigeria, is what you have in diaspora...same life challenges. It's not easy anywhere. If it was that easy, people will not live in diaspora for thirty years and even more without becoming millionaires. Today the richest Nigerians live in Nigeria. Fact.
