Thank you for doing this review. I agree, it's a beautiful watch and, with the shroud, I see the Tuna-can inspiration but also that it is original: The shroud has no cutaways but does have that wave pattern, it has extended lugs unlike a tuna, and some brilliant details! Some that I noticed, whether you mentioned them or not: --the shape and depth of the raised indices are very nice. --The design of the hands carries a lot of luminescence and it appears to be very easy to read at a "snap". A tool watch, indeed. --the attachment points for the shroud! This is brilliant! By hiding them between the lugs, which Seiko certainly doesn't do, they have engineered an elegant solution and one that protects the screws, also! This is the most outstanding feature on the watch, to me. They've tucked the screws away, and then if you remove the shroud just as you did, there are no exposed holes out on the visible portions of the case. I have to say it again (a themed developed by your repetition of something else over and over again, Peter...) , That is brilliant! --the fitment of the rubber strap, and of the stainless steel bracelet (nowhere to be found on their site, however) also stand out as excellent. --The pebbled or sandy texture on the dial is very nice. I have a similar texture on a Spinnaker watch dial and it just looks great all day. I do have one issue, one disappointment on a watch that appears to be so carefully designed. With so much attention to detail, how is it that they put the date window between four and five, but not *centered* there?! It's not at 4:30, it's at 4:45! What the holy hell?! No, no, no! I wear my divers in the water but also mostly out of the water. I can use a date window. I could also live without one, but I like them fine when they are placed and treated nicely. on this beautiful watch with the finishing that is so incredible and the engineering that establishes these folks *thought about it*, the misplaced date window just makes no sense to me. Oh what the heck, I have another complaint: I don't recognize that interesting screw interface used for the shroud screws, and I would appreciate something that a mere mortal might own the bit for. They're hidden in there, so go ahead and use an Allen head like everybody else :) All said and done, Peter, another excellent review and your enthusiasm certainly came through! Cheers!

Hi Peter.....thank you for another excellent review, personally i prefer the Elliot Brown Holton or the CWC divers watches, stay safe, best regards, Stefano.
Man these are absolutely amazing. I love that logo design on the box and the crown. I wonder why they put that annoying writing on the dial instead. It's super generic and lackluster. That amazing logo, its such a unique design, do a highly detailed nice applied metal logo, and maybe only write 300m WR or something like that above 6, and done, there you have it. If i was producing a microbrand watch, id rather under brand than over. No writing on it, just that amazing logo applied, and 200m wr. But that's again nitpicking, as you said. It is already an almost perfect watch.
That is a nice watch. The mottled dial is different, really like the deep lume, and the scalloped bezel sets it apart from the usual Seiko divers. Seems like a lot of thought has been put into those watches. Disagree with you about the date, I like it at the four thirty mark. It keeps the symmetry of the dial. Wearing my Seiko SNJ as I watch the video. Off to check their website. All the best from France.
I just checked the website. They have a special edition with Damascus steel shroud. That is something else.... I also checked the normal edition and it only comes in black dial at the moment. Great video (and now you've got yourself a new subscriber). I had to warm up to that unusual wave-shaped shroud at first. But yeah, a great tribute/homage to a Tuna, without being a copy/clone. Love the details, like the surface of the dial etc. I'm getting a bit fed up with micro band divers sporting a NH35 (even though I like that movement), there's just too many of them by now IMHO, and I think that bubble might burst soon. This however, was a fresh take in this jungle. We need more kinda unique designs like this.
I really like this. If I didn’t already have a Seiko Tuna, I would buy one. I would prefer a gloss black dial, but Hey Ho, spectacular value. That strap, Wow. Great photography btw.
I don't mind it , although 3 o'clock for me if there has to be a date ( why not more watches with no date ? Peter's so right on this). The dial face texture is just ( swoons)... As mentioned by others the overall dimensions just a bit too much ( it may fit better on person). I'm glad it's not for me as I just got the same Promaster after Peter reviewed it , not blaming him though.
Great review as usual, your excitement is obvious. it's now on my radar, but as you said, I like the red, so I will wait until that is available. Just one more thing, reading the last few comments, you don't need to justify yourself to anyone, it's your channel. You disclosed the promotion and I'm happy with that, and so are most people. If companies didn't give away watches to reviewers, the only reviews would be about 10k Rolexes as only the big players would be reviewing. Keep up the good work, and I'm looking forward to winning one of your giveaways, wink, wink.
Certainly great value. A possible negative for me as a past diver is how legible the bezel minute track is when you are diving and the water visibility is low. The PADI Monster's bezel I think is a better implementation of a bezel for legibility. Cheers Peter.
Hey Tim you’re probably right about that bezel I suppose with this the pip at 12 is like a flashlight so you really can’t miss it in dim lighting Cheers mate
Does anyone know why watchmakers decide to show the date at 430 or 445pm ?? As opposed to 3pm or 6pm position ?? I feel like it's a poor design choice...I get that when You swing your wrist to read the time and it could be argued as being the best position to read the date but then the date window is tiny so sort of feels it's design purpose is defeated there...so then why ?
@@135ipocketrocket2 welcome aboard. @@PeterKotsa Yes that's a big compliment, considering. I'm a lume nut so that's a real plus here. I love my Seiko's and was about to get another when I saw your reviews for this brand. I much prefer the value proposition here, and Seiko could take a lesson from it. Thanks again!
@@135ipocketrocket2 Im a massive Seiko fan (well was a huge fan years ago) before the prices went through the roof and the quality control issues were never addressed. I think micro brands are seeing a gap here in the market and supplying the right stuff for the end user 👍
Hi Peter have you ever done a review of the watch in titanium with the different movement in as I can't find any review on this model.I might just save some money and buy it in stainless steel
How does it look with bracelet and shroud removed? I do appreciate your review of these, I have started to purchase these myself. Super brand. If you don't care for swiss made this is the best bang for buck.
If this was a no date I'd consider it , have you ever looked at ARAGON Watches they just released a 42 mm for half of the price of this I'm very impressed with ! Great review you sounded very impressed Thanks love your channel !
Hey Peter... You had me sold on this one! ...until you gave those dimensions. Any secrets for bigger wrists in less than 24 hours?? XD Seriously, a very nice watch, so many unique touches! These microbrands give big brands a fair bit of competition. Well said; if we just keep on buying whatever the big brands put out... they have no reason to reduce costs. It's just too bad it's so big (for me). that said... I'd like to give my opinion on the whole price question; I'm not trying to defend Seiko (or any other big brand)... but I think there is way more than simply the watch itself that needs to be taken into account. What about production quantity, warranty service, after-sale service, etc.. A company like Citizen and Seiko will have major offices in many cities, they will have many service points... getting warranty service or a watch serviced by them will be a rather simple affair... these microbrands, it's very unknown. Who says they will still be around in 5 or 10 years? Will they honour warranty service, defects, etc... Microbrands are always interesting and the cost is great, but I always feel like you're taking more of a chance with them. On the other hand, I think big brands like Seiko will capitalize on success and boost the cost of watches. Anyways, those are just thoughts... I am not stating facts or trying to mislead anyone. I'm often looking at microbrands... but then when I spend a good 500$ or more, I'm not getting it through a retailer or big delar in watches, I'm not certain how "service" will be if anything was to happen.. so I end up playing the safe game and going for the more mainstream manufacturers (unfortunately).
Thanks for sharing bro To be honest with many of the movements the micro brands offer, like this NH35 it is solid and reliable. If something were to go wrong I suppose it’s pretty cheap to just throw a resplendent movement in it.. In fact I have 2 Seiko’s at my watchmaker as we speak, both faulty and both out of warranty and one is a simple cheap fix, the other just an inexpensive movement swap Either way don’t be scared to experts little with some micro brands..especially decent quality ones 👍 Cheers
Interesting dive watch, thanks Peter.. Didn't aware my neighbour countries (Singapore, and now Thailand too) has such interesting watch at amazing price. I am careless with my watches. I feel the bezel lume pit at 12 o'clock is too protruding to get knock and fell off.
I enjoyed the video Peter and appreciate a beautifully made watch, but for me, something didn’t gel. After watching the review till the end, I figured it’s the bezel. I don’t want to knock the watch as it looks like the team at Wise have done a great job, but it’s not my cup of tea, even though I am a big fan of divers. Better luck next time.

Very interesting. I will have to look at their site this weekend. It appears to be a well made timepiece. Now I am wondering if they have any models that are not absolute beasts; not that there is anything wrong with that. I am moving my collection towards 38-40mm watches.
Me too Chris, but this thing even though it is relatively on the larger size, has got my attention and surprisingly it has been wearing really well and comfortably on the wrist.. cheers mate
I've checked out their website & got in touch, at the moment only the black dial & cool grey dial are available, the other colours available December or January 🤞
Good one. Seiko have dropped the ball and risk losing their real loyalists like us. This one has many Panerai sub design similarities in the hands and bezel

The ISO cert is overly hyped. In reality most dive watches truly used for their intended purpose do not have the ISO cert . This would include Doxa and Rolex. They are built to much higher parameters and no one would dispute their resume. The one ISO certified watch I owned was a Seiko srp773. It was terribly inaccurate and had poor quality overall. I had bought it new and sold it to a pawn shop just to get rid of it.
Me too, however I've had 60 plus Seiko's in my collection in the last 5 years..and this thing got me a little excited :) Thanks for sharing Graeme Cheers mate

I totally agree
Welcome aboard as well
Cheers 👍
I really like this. If I didn’t already have a Seiko Tuna, I would buy one. I would prefer a gloss black dial, but Hey Ho, spectacular value. That strap, Wow. Great photography btw.
Cheers
I like it. Agree about the date though, better at 6 o’clock and a black date wheel with white numbers would be better, option of no date would be good
I don't mind it , although 3 o'clock for me if there has to be a date ( why not more watches with no date ? Peter's so right on this).
The dial face texture is just ( swoons)...
As mentioned by others the overall dimensions just a bit too much ( it may fit better on person).
I'm glad it's not for me as I just got the same Promaster after Peter reviewed it , not blaming him though.
Looks like a nice and robust watch. Excellent.
I’ll show it to you when we catch up
It’s really superb
To me it's panerai+seiko=wise. It's a good looking watch
Lol
Thanks for that
Who knows maybe this Wise will be up for grabs at 20k subs 👍
Cheers
Hi Peter , I just saw both your videos (this one and the one w the red dial) - which one is your favourite? The red one ? Tks in advance
Black..
It’s more versatile in daily wear 👍👍
Thanks !
@@PeterKotsa I got a collection though so the red is really tempting me hahaha
Certainly great value. A possible negative for me as a past diver is how legible the bezel minute track is when you are diving and the water visibility is low. The PADI Monster's bezel I think is a better implementation of a bezel for legibility. Cheers Peter.
Hey Tim you’re probably right about that bezel
I suppose with this the pip at 12 is like a flashlight so you really can’t miss it in dim lighting
Cheers mate
@@PeterKotsa Hey mate I didn't wake you up did I? Wasn't expecting a reply so early a.m.
Great review! Wish I would've caught it at the lower price. Up at $385 now, but that's still decent, especially versus the competition.
I'm still enjoying this 4 months later and it is a very solid performer indeed.👍
@@PeterKotsa Thank you for such an in-depth and professional review. I'm going to order one! Subbed as well!
@@135ipocketrocket2 welcome aboard. I am sure you will be delighted, I compare this to my Seiko's Turtle Samurai etc,, and this thing is much better value for money and the LUME...oh that LUME...it is much better than Myna Seiko's...thats saying heaps as far as Im concerned..enjoy it when it arrives
Cheers
@@PeterKotsa Yes that's a big compliment, considering. I'm a lume nut so that's a real plus here. I love my Seiko's and was about to get another when I saw your reviews for this brand. I much prefer the value proposition here, and Seiko could take a lesson from it. Thanks again!
@@135ipocketrocket2 Im a massive Seiko fan (well was a huge fan years ago) before the prices went through the roof and the quality control issues were never addressed. I think micro brands are seeing a gap here in the market and supplying the right stuff for the end user 👍
Great looking watch Peter ,, might have missed it in video , what is weight of watch with bracelet ? Thx
189 grams
Cheers
Love the watch Peter! But for me Wise Diving is not diving at all!🤣👍🏼😎
Hi Peter have you ever done a review of the watch in titanium with the different movement in as I can't find any review on this model.I might just save some money and buy it in stainless steel
Never seen the Ti version myself..
How does it look with bracelet and shroud removed? I do appreciate your review of these, I have started to purchase these myself. Super brand. If you don't care for swiss made this is the best bang for buck.
With the shroud removed its organic...sort of looks unfinished and raw. But useable
I have a tuna i wear mine on rubber too, ( isofrane) it makes it more comfortable than it's stock bracelet.
If this was a no date I'd consider it , have you ever looked at ARAGON Watches they just released a 42 mm for half of the price of this I'm very impressed with ! Great review you sounded very impressed Thanks love your channel !
I'll check Aragon out
Cheers
Good review again, my friend. Not my kind of watch... for now... but l can see the appeal. Definitely good value for money, no doubt.
I can not find the Wise company website to buy this watch. Please help me.
Love the way you come up with cool watches
Thanks Steve
Cheers
I found the Wise company website but most of the writing is in the Thai language. Do they have an English language place to buy a watch?
Here try this...wisetimepiece.com
Hey Peter...
You had me sold on this one! ...until you gave those dimensions.
Any secrets for bigger wrists in less than 24 hours?? XD
Seriously, a very nice watch, so many unique touches!
Thanks for sharing bro
To be honest with many of the movements the micro brands offer, like this NH35 it is solid and reliable. If something were to go wrong I suppose it’s pretty cheap to just throw a resplendent movement in it..
In fact I have 2 Seiko’s at my watchmaker as we speak, both faulty and both out of warranty and one is a simple cheap fix, the other just an inexpensive movement swap
Either way don’t be scared to experts little with some micro brands..especially decent quality ones 👍
Cheers
@@PeterKotsa Yeah, that's true!
Cheers,
All good with that bezel, everything is personal and subjective, so no probs..
Glad you enjoyed the review, thanks again
As TIME TELLER says, ORIENT is the new Seiko; for myself, i think so is CASIO, go check out their new casio edifice / besides and oceanus lines of new affordable watches with Sapphire, ultra slimness and other good specs like 100M water resistance e.g. EFR-S108D
Just ordered the red one
Very interesting. I will have to look at their site this weekend. It appears to be a well made timepiece. Now I am wondering if they have any models that are not absolute beasts; not that there is anything wrong with that. I am moving my collection towards 38-40mm watches.
Me too Chris, but this thing even though it is relatively on the larger size, has got my attention and surprisingly it has been wearing really well and comfortably on the wrist..
cheers mate
Hi Chris! Well said! 38-40 mm is also my preferred size for watches. Cheers!
@@PeterKotsa Yes. I like what they did with the end links. Other manufacturers should take note. (Good review BTW)
Great review and love it, I was hoping to see the other colour options on there website but seems they only have the black version.
About a month away for the colours
there are many color
I've checked out their website & got in touch, at the moment only the black dial & cool grey dial are available, the other colours available December or January 🤞
Ok thanks for sharing that Gavin, cheers mate
Great looking watch
Realy nice one,but big watch overall, for those who like it its a bargain and in some way have its one personality, good presentasion as always, cheers.
Cheers !!
also has some panerai styling also
Taking the shroud of is the way to go. going for £241 at the moment.
I like it. Cool diver. Thanks for the video.
Wow Awesome Watch Thanks For The Review .
My pleasure 😇
Good one. Seiko have dropped the ball and risk losing their real loyalists like us. This one has many Panerai sub design similarities in the hands and bezel
Thanks Peter Richard ann UK
Peter when do the other colour variations come out ?
They told me in about a month
Looking forward to seeing them in more detailed photos myself
Is there another website can only see 2 divers in the page I was on and one of them was sold out .help!!
I believe the other colours are available in a month
I can't get it off my wrist. Let me get it on my wrist. OK.......
Well G'morning Peter 😇 . Thanks for the heads up and I agree that does look really nice and I never realized that Thailand made watches, at least nothing of this quality anyway, wow 😎 . I'm still patiently waiting for the blue dial amphiibian scuba dude that I ordered a few weeks ago. On the flip side of that coin there is a watch that caught my eye recently that I think you might like the look of that I still need to figure out the make and model on but if memory serves me correct I think it's from Poland. Anyhoo, when I figure it out I'll let you know and as always great video bro 🙃🙃 ..
Thanks, when you remember that watches name let me know
Cheers 👍
Thailand actually makes some of the Casio G-Shock watches. So yes, l believe they can make some good watches.
@@PeterKotsa Here you go bro, I have no idea how to pronounce the name of the company and I'd probably butcher it if I even tried but they certainly have some interesting designs and this one and the way they use the colors on this one and the way it Pops is definitely interesting. timeandpassion.pl/en/product/zegarek-vratislavia-conceptum-heritage-chrono-s-15/

Ok, I will do a test today against my Seiko's and I will get back to you..I will let the video run for one full hour and check the results 👍..watch this space
nice watch, but too big for me.... it's a big boy - thickness 15mm! Why they didn't create smaller one? Waiting for another vidoe :) have a nice day!
Enoksen Deepdive! Check out that beast. Had mine nearly 2 years, make tunas and this look a bit weedy or fussy.
I’ll check them out
Seems to be a very wise choice to get one.
😂 I couldn’t agree more 👍👍
the bracelet looks better (to me), actually. maybe because i never like wearing rubber straps
This should look good on a Nato strap too.
Just had a message from the company with a couple of pics showing the shroud in Damascus Steel..🤪😍
I really like it also!
Please don't say you are not being paid when the watch is free.
Hey Peter
I hear you, I meant to say not getting paid to say good stuff about a watch, regardless of iit being free, my opinion is my opinion
Also at certain milestones (eg 10K subs etc) I usually give these watches away to my viewers

@@PeterKotsa You might have said it a few times - too many? It's your channel, do what you feel comfortable with. Given the video quality, it's clear you're not knocking these out in an hour after work, the effort you put in is obvious. Your RUclips revenues must be worth a fortune (I'm kidding!).
I think you can make a single, very clear statement and most people will be happy. Nick Shabazz has an excellent approach, for example (he actions freebies for charity, but check his knife reviews for the way he handles disclosure). Given the fakers who tried to cheat the last giveaway you might want to look at an approach like that and let sponsors find a way to deal with the cheats.
I hope Wise release that red dial - they have the black one and a grey one (!?) at present and the grey does NOT ring my bell :-)

So... I was just trying to get a sense from the video, Peter... Do you like this watch? Wasn't clear! 😉
Hahaha..funny guy Richard, thanks for making me laugh this morning

Is this dive watch ISO certified?
The ISO cert is overly hyped. In reality most dive watches truly used for their intended purpose do not have the ISO cert . This would include Doxa and Rolex. They are built to much higher parameters and no one would dispute their resume. The one ISO certified watch I owned was a Seiko srp773. It was terribly inaccurate and had poor quality overall. I had bought it new and sold it to a pawn shop just to get rid of it.
Great watch! Support from Spain
Thanks Roberto

Hi Peter haven't seen you so excited since you reviewed the 051 , lol. Looks great value for money, and the clarity of it is fab. But I just don't like it. Never been a fan of the tunas either. This is Too tall and quite a basic case design. If you just wanted a watch for scuba diving though at this price it's hard to beat.
You must hate me lately as I've been a bit critical of some of your choices . That wise logo just looks awful in my opinion, and cheapens the watch for me. I know it sounds snobbish but that name just sucks !!!
Great review as always though mate and I'm waiting for the rado captain cook review ??? Because I think it's right down your street !!!
LOL..I don't hate anyone Martin, let alone you
This platform is designed for us enthusiasts to speak our heart and honest truth.
