I have traded a single email and am very much so looking forward to meeting him. My uncle was born across the river from the beer factory at Tsing Tao before the Second World War. Glad you liked it Kenneth. NGC opened a big submission center in China last year so I suspect we'll be seeing more dragons and such on the market in the next few years. One of the things that keep a lot of western collectors away from these coins is that there can be a fairly steep learning curve to it if you start from scratch. Having more slabbed coins, I think, will give greater confidence to potential buyers. Sorry for rambling on a bit... Thanx for watching
I have a coin that is similar to that dragon silver dollar but it has two dragons and no English writing. The Chinese writing markings look similar. It must be a pre or post 1911 coin. It is only the size of a U.S. quarter dollar.
