    Thanks for documenting it all Gabe! I agree about Slave 1, not sure why Disney changed the name. Boba Fett is a villain and it fits that his ships name is also villainous!

      Thank you! Yeah I was very surprised they still had it labeled that way!

    I went to Disneyworld last year and I could not keep my eyes away from all the models! That Slave I really is beautiful in person.

    Thanks for sharing that Gabe! Great video! Question, were there any signs around the entrance that mentioned the accuracy of these displays?

    • @StarWarsReplicas
      @StarWarsReplicas  8 месяцев назад

      Thanks! No, you kinda just have to know about studio scale models a bit to know they are exact replicas. However there is a sign next to the speeder bike saying that it’s 1 of 6 screen used ones!

    Launch Bay use to be an awesome place!!! I remember being there a week after it opened, right when The Force Awakens hype was at all time high. Such a cool time period for Star Wars fans.. They had a whole extra room with stuff from the new movies which just added to the hype!! It’s sad seeing that it’s a shell of its former self

    The model you see at 6:45 is Sideshow’s 1:6 speeder bike. I have it myself and it screams it is that model. The rod is the same as well. Thanks for showing us the neat display!

    I wish you could have gone a few years ago. Within the snaking lines for the character meet and greets, they had a ton more prop replicas forming the “walls” like half walls between the lines in low rise cases. I remember a lot of rebels stuff. Sabine’s helmet, ahsoka’s sabers, Ezra’s saber, an inquisitor saber. It was so cool.

    • @StarWarsReplicas

      I remember those line queues with the helmets and sabers!

    Great tour. If we're not mistaken, that Speeder Bike is actually an original from ROTJ. They had 2 on display many years ago, and they were repainted once or twice over the years, but that is likely one of the real speeder bikes from the movie.

    Cool video. In the original Star Wars radio drama on NPR, they pronounced Princess Leia's ship as, "Tan-ti-vee 4". I know it looks like Tan-tive... but according to the only actual enunciation of the word, it's "Tan-ti-vee".

      That’s so cool! Did you also work on the prop replicas that Prop Shop sold around the same time? I have the Prop Shop Kylo Ren lightsaber, that’s why I ask.

      @@StarWarsReplicas No, I was on Rogue One and the other films when they started to do those. You were lucky with yours, I heard that a Kylo saber was shipped accidentally with blue lighting.

    Well is really nice, but... On 2018, before the Galaxy Edge, the Star Wars Launch Bay was much more rich, much more models and art stuff to watch, I don't understand why they take all that wonderfull stuff away.
