I remember Grand Master Jhoon Rhee, I met him when I was 7 years old. Its still hard to believe he's gone, but he's in a better place now. R.I.P Grandmaster Jhoon Rhee

Thank you very much for your comment.
I took part in Grand Master Jhoon Rhee's seminar in Kyoto Japan when I was 25 years old.
About 9 years later I took part in Independence Day Martial Ballet Performance with him in Tokyo.
      These are very good memories.
I will never forget him too.
Once again I appreciate your comment!

I was a Jhoon Rhee student in DC nearly 20 years ago and learned that form. It's timeless and especially riveting when performed with a group.

I’m envious you. I have not seen it really, and I saw exodus group performance in vedeo or youtube movies.
We are classmate of same generation.
      I took part in G M Rhee's seminar in Japan 90's.
My friend is also same and she took part in Florida karate Championship and GM Rhee 's black belt Seminar from Japan about 20 years ago.
Thank you very much for your comment.
      I feel nostalgic.

It’s amazing to see how this form has changed over time, and how different Studios do it differently

this is chinese gung fu not korean taekwando. dude is dress down in a kung fu outfit. the form he’s demoing is very much from a hard-direct style of gung fu as well. Contrary to popular western belief there are hard direct-fluid-linear systems of gung fu and not just soft-circular ones. As well as neutrality systems that encompass both hard and soft techniques. another dead give away he’s doing gung fu is opening and closing the door movement and the fist in palm signature salute.

Well by American Taekwondo standards it's a taekwondo form. It's not itf sure in fact maybe not even considered wtf, but by what grand master jhoon rhee introduced it's taekwondo.Since he did blend american culture with itf taekwondo. Also if you listen to the beginning you hear grand master jhoon rhee say, "might for right to exodus"

Exodus is an American Taekwondo form, and Grandmaster Rhee is from Korea not China. I would know this only because I have met Grandmaster Rhee when I was 7 years old, but also because I also know Exodus. The full name for Exodus is: Might For Right To The Music Of Exodus.

You 2 I know about GM Jhoon Rhee. But it definitely looks like dude is infusing chinese arts with this korean one pretty much. That is a commonality in modern taekwando plus i has a lot kungfu moves incorporated into it since it’s kindred art is tang soo plus its has influence from fukien white crane gung fu and shotokan.

@@johntrae1580 Yeah i can see what you mean. It's definitely doesn't look like what taekwondo is generally believed to look like, although still it is taekwondo even if mixed with some elements of gung fu
