  • Sorry for the lack of posting lately, I’ve had a lot going on and just haven’t had the chance to record anything. I’ve honestly felt super overwhelmed and behind on a lot on the farm and have been trying to focus and get things done. Then when I do have time to make a video go figure my computer and phone both decided to give me trouble for a few days straight and not let me get the video edited and uploaded lol.
    Anyways hope you enjoy the update. There will be a lot more coming out soon hopefully! So stay tuned!
    God bless, and happy gardening!

    Don't sweat the tech my friend, we can't eat computers. You have some serious skills that will be very valuable in the near future with all of this inflation. Love watching your content, your voice and demeanor brings me down 10 notches in this stressful world. Keep up the awesome work. Hope to see more content when you have time. Thanks 👍

    Looks like the freeze is coming next Tuesday and Wednesday. It has been really warm, I think it's the overcast. Very few clear days. How's tent life treating you?

  • @armandodesousa6375
    @armandodesousa6375 5 месяцев назад +1

    How do you keep the tomatos from getting blight in the winter? Here in Algarve, frost isnt the problem- funguses and mildews in winter destroy many Solanaceae in winter. Just lost a 4 meter high cherry tomato, and with the overly-warm nights in summer limiting my tomato production ,I aim to grow tomatos in winter-if I can.
    GOD bless. Your video and gardens are magnificent!

    • @GrowingBackToEden
      @GrowingBackToEden  5 месяцев назад +1

      I haven’t done anything special for them honestly. This is my first year growing winter toms too… they definitely have some fungal problems but I’ve honestly left it and haven’t really pruned them much at all.

      Wonderful tour of the market garden. You do such a lovely job. Thanks for your time. Nothing worse than garden your not happy with. I have some that is a miss too. It’s stressful to look at. But can’t do everything on your own. So just enjoy the good parts.

    For the compost tea you sell, will it help with any possible deficiencies? I see some of my plants like kale and peas start to become light green and yellow

    • @GrowingBackToEden
      @GrowingBackToEden  4 месяца назад +1

      It contains biology that can and will help bring nutrients to the plants and make other nutrients that may be tied up in the soil biologically available to the crops. But if your soil is just deficient then you still need to add nutrients

      @@GrowingBackToEden thanks so much for the reply. Yeah I did a layer of compost over top but maybe the tea would help as well. Blessings!!

    The other tomato is Galahad. How do I remember what you are growing any you don't? *laughs*
    I would just obliterate the "Syntropic garden" if I were you. Doubt Pete would let you, though. Only other solution is to put permanent raised beds down all the rows. That will kick the weed problem in the arse.

    Oh my goodness. Where do I even start? I rate this video a 10/10, for doing God's honest work, but definitely for that nice beard length. But I expect nothing less from the dutiful duke of dirt. My onion overlord, sultan of celery, my kabocha king. You really butter my biscuits on the sunniest of cheery days, just like my majestic melon monk should. Rutabagas revere their rogue ruler, lettuce loves its luscious liege. My God, even the baby-est blue of blueberries balk to compete with the Produce Pope's lettuce-loving lookers. When you turnip at my the crib and jumpstart my beeting heart with your ravishing radishes, I can't help but savor my sassy kohlrabi kingpin.
    Call me 😏
