No reason to take a map to the "Next Level". Almost all of the top maps are 1.0 maps with a little uefn, breaking the rules with no consequences from epic, reportedly falsely dmca competing maps with again no consequences and more. Its hard to see a reason to take the time to make a "next level" map, when there is no moderation.
this was always the vision from Mr Mustard, develop UEFN to attract big studios (and increase the audience) - unfortunately FN isn't that attractive to them especially when Epic want 60% of the revenue
@@ModoBro What draws people to Fortnite is actually the opposite for adults. Having a chance to win because the game is based on skill instead of buying more features or being able to create and play stuff by normal people. Attracting large studios might satisfy the 10 year olds for now, but for long term retention having an opportunity makes it more appealing. If it just becomes conglomerate capitalism like everywhere else in an overt way it will lose it's appeal. In creative there's a way to find random cool creator maps online still but it would be nice if discover made the process of playing something cool easier. Also, only paying the conglomerate maps will mean no one will create anything interesting to play anymore. I don't know this might be the first season I don't get my battle pass to level 200 because Fortnite is just turning into what everything else already is. Anyhow, thanks for coming to my ted talk I am losing my love for Fortnite. Ooh also they are not youtube or Netflix there's a ton of video games if they get rid of what people came for they can easily just die out.
Does Epic (or FNCreate) ever respond to /aknowledge these "accusations" such as the rip-off of IPs and such ? Is the issue raised in a room at State of Unreal?
don't waste your time if you wanna make money at this. They only want big time creators with lots of new followers. They are not interested in promoting maps made by us plebs to the existing player base no matter how brilliant they are (they would probably steal the idea though) There are currently 166,000 maps and 160,000 of them have ZERO players
I'm glad UEFN exist such an easy point of entry for those that want to build their own experiences 🤙🏿🤙🏿

Epic just gives the top 10 creators who make 1.0 level stuff all the money and discovery time so not sure why more features even matter.

It's a lottery.
Why spend hours or even months on a map when no one will play it because epic pushes the pit or red vs blue to everyone everyday
Strangely no IP rip-off or XP maps in the Game Awards nominees ;-) So a decent curation is possible if wanted.

Textures always to large, never continued

True plus they don't even put them in discover.
I have no following and I didnt come to discovery page but made 35k in 3 month
@@JamesBeastFinance lucky you, what map?
No you didn't @@JamesBeastFinance
Stop complaining about Epic, stop whining and create better things, there are several small creators with great creativity who engage maps, yes...
