Beautiful car and the engine sounds good. What I don't get is someone spends all that money on redoing the car, but can't get the electrical stuff right. 🙄
55's had a 265 V8 weird engine, had no oil filter mount on the block, the air filter was like a big bowl over the carburetor and filtered air & oil! By '57 they figured out the 350 small block, just a little history for ya!
Moron oil bath air cleaner did not have anything to do with the oil in the engine. The 265 v8 in this car has a canister type oil filter on the block in the same place as all v8 Chevy do. The 350 small block did not come out until 1967.
I love all the awesome cars yall sell. This one is iffy. No horn no wipers. Shifter out of cinq..windows not opening properly. Showing some stuffs been done but not to the level the car deserves. I love the color. Needs way too much for me to be interested. I will keep checking on whats new. Especially appreciative of honesty and upfront about everything
@@mattjohnson8090 I was going to say the same thing, a 396 with a mild cam and a set of original flow master 40 series for that low end hollow-ish rumble....I might even throw a Holley Sniper on it and daily it.
Thats some lethal sleek hot car, i remember back in 1972 when i saw one like this baby way out in the country for sale 350 dollars 💵 perfect condition holy chevy 🤟 🤩 🤩
Nice cruiser. That steering would drive me nuts till I get it fixed.. 305 is prob something he had from another vehicle.. I like commenting on here all the time lately.. Love the videos and also nick stays quiet so you cab virtually hear road noise n such.. I like that and also the ones you can get at highway speed for few minutes shut the windows and see the ambient noise. This is 1st one that I have ever felt price for this is iffy compared to normal pricing on your stuff.. Usually on like holy shit is that a misprint or what.. I've actually felt by watching all your rides that I can actually be able to get me something cool on my budget.. It's Marine Corp Gulf War vet don't get a whole lot
After looking around the internet, there are alot nice cars out there for the money. By that I mean u are going to pay a little more but the vehicle will be night and day to this one. Not a knock on you business u got to make money. Just with your prices and what I've seen from other places way too many problems for what your paying
Iv’e only heard the opposite from everyone. Most of the time other dealers buy our cars and mark them up more since we have them $2000 under the national average. Thats why we sell 60 cars a month , we have a hard time even keeping inventory. If you notice well we have 11 cars available now. At the prices we ask we usually sell them before I can even list them. I think what it comes down to is go and try to buy one of those cars that you’re finding on the Internet. Almost 100% of the time it’s not what it supposed to be or it’s not even available anymore. Thats what we go through every day , Thanks
right money seems to be worth less and less , I would rather have investment that go up in value like a classic. Thats why we have been doing this for years.
My second car was a 55 Chevy 2 door post bought in 1962 for 600.00 from am elderly gentleman that had to quit driving marron bottom white top 265 2 barrel 3 speed collum shift 60 k miles like brand new ran like a watch.
I usually don’t floor it as soon as I leave. This is not anything fast tho, I would consider it just a driver car. It has get up and go but nothing like a Hot rod, more of a night out cruiser
@@johnmcaleese8459 I’m guessing about 3200-3400 lbs I believe the stock weight with the 6cyl was about 3100 and I don’t think the small block weighs a whole lot more. It’d be interesting to find out for sure.
This was agreat car Bach in the day thats why it's still running but it is an 8 cylinder so it's a quick car but it's eats gas but it's a good cruser car Chevy

Electrical is The hardest to find but The easiest to fix
Great looking car. Just wish people would take the time to fix the little stuff to make the car right.
Hello from Russia. It's nice to see how you feel about your cars, your history. Nice to see your cars. Sorry for my English
Shoot, your English is better than half the people that chime in, including me !!

As long as your headliner is vinyl Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner works like a charm!
Sweet looking ride! First thing I would do is yank that 305 and put in a 383 stroker motor.
396 only way to go

Love the huge steering wheel 😂 that’s a beautiful 55 Chevy
I agree!!
Looks like a solid sled.

John if u want this beauty!!!!! Buy it nothing wrong with that, happy your buying it. 👍🍺🍻

Pretty sweet cars you get Nick!
Awesome Chevy!!!! Perfect color combination!!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks 👍
My kind of 55 hardtop clock stopped working 20 yrs. ago 😂😂😂😂
The 305 was a strange choice. They can be warmed up, but why spend the money when there are so many other great options?
Nice car sweet. I have one.
Who bumped their head and did an engine swap with a boat anker 305 and not a 454??
The only weak link in a 305 is cam replace it even with a stock 350 cam and it's a whole different animal plus it revs higher
There's nothing like a 55 chevy.
Nice one.
Super sharp 55
Wowsers she's beautiful, ❤️ they don't make them like that anymore.
Keep it
HellA nice 55!!!! Great video again Bud!!!
Great video
Thank you very much
Minor problems are just minor problems. I'm guessing the money was spent making it rust free.
Front tampa I like it !
If anyone was wondering about the performance of this, Nick had it matted to the floor when he pulled out of the lot. 🤔
I usually don’t floor it as soon as I leave. This is not anything fast tho, I would consider it just a driver car. It has get up and go but nothing like a Hot rod, more of a night out cruiser
PS the car i saw Was powerglide and a 6 cyl in line engine unbeateable
Enjoy the vids of all these cars but all of them have way too many issues for the asking price, jmo.
must be why they sell so fast, Thanks for watching
Sweet
Me and my girlfriend both love it, well actually she claimed it she says it's her's! Lol
Ok I’ve been coveting a split bumper Camaro my whole life but if you keep getting these amazing 55 and 56s I may lose my focus.
I hear ya ! Something about these things sure is growing on me. Wonder what the weight is on these with a small block in it ?

Nice to see a car that old and comes with autopilot!!! Hopefully won’t run out from you!! 😂😂😂
You're going to have to start adding 50 dollars in gas $20 is only 4 gallons
U no if all the problems were fixed, the car would have a higher price. Could be a little less. The biggest problem is it doesn't have power steering!
Ghost ride the whip.....
