As a former hazardous waste starte inspector and retired physician, rest assured that you are not "ruining the environment" with a single bleach tablet or a little foaming glass cleaner. Bleach breaks down into water and salt, and you're cleaning areas that have bacteria that can cause illness. As far as teaching driving, we solved that in our house. My husband taught my son (who is a mini me) without issue (my husband thinks my quirks are cute). I taught my daughter (mini him) without problems, as I think my hubby's idiosyncracies are cute! Win win.
Cas this video is hilarious! All so real and we can relate with it all! I don't know what my fav's would be.... there are so many!... kicking the dishwasher, getting real with the toilet, clutter baskets galore, etc., etc. Priceless!
Cass you made my day. I was having a bad day and my depression was at a all time high but, as soon as I saw your video you made me laugh. Your energy is so pure. Thank you for being you!
Depression can hit especially hard this time of year when we perceive others are happy and cheerful around Christmas, and we're feeling kind of low. Cass does have that gift of teaching while making us smile and laugh, too. From my experience, laughing is the best kind of medicine to ward off the big D. Lucky us, Cass is the gift that just keeps on giving in that arena. 😊 Who knew you could come here for the cleaning tips and aquire healing, too? May you enjoy the closeness of your family and friends, and have an awesome upcoming holiday.
Cass - you're just the best! The singing to yourself (it's me!), the clutter catcher ("it's just a basket"), kicking the dishwasher (why does it never close right?), the simmer pot ("I want people to think I have my life together") - it was a great video and made me feel better about how I clean. No one judge me for my singing - CASS DOES IT TOO!
Thanks for talking about driving anxiety. I didn’t know I had so much company. I absolutely hate it! Being a passenger is almost as bad. My husband usually drives, which is fine but as he’s getting older, he is getting more distracted. Between all these roundabouts being built (I hate those) and changing familiar stop signs to All Way Stops, I’m always shouting to stop or watch the cars. I’m happy to stay home and relax with my hubby and dog
I HATE ROUNDABOUTS TOO! Mostly because I don't trust the other drivers to use them properly. What if I'm not in the right lane to turn left? Or turn right? What if I have to do a right turn on the second turn and the driver next to me won't let me through? Will I spin forever until I can get out of it?? I think National Lampoon's European Vacation in the 80s traumatized me on roundabouts 😂
I really like roundabouts but some are poorly designed and they are terrible. Consider practicing. You could study an Arial photo of it on Google Maps and think it through. That helps me. Go for coffee early on a Sunday Morning and take a few spins around the roundabout. Get familiar with it. Just get in your turn lane and take your turn. When it’s busy you’ll still hate it (hopefully less) and some drivers are rude, but at-least you will be more confident about how you maneuver in that space.
OMG! You stomping on the difficult bottom dishwasher drawer made me literally laugh out loud! I love watching your videos! They always make me smile and learn new things to keep my house cleaner.
Driving anxiety! I hear you. When I turned 70 I stopped driving. I'm able to get rides with family, friends, etc. any time I need to. But actually I'm such a homebody there's no where I want to go and nothing I want to do that involves driving. Don't miss it at all! Merry Christmas, Cas!
RUclips suggested this video to me & I was dubious at first, but not only did I learn some useful tips, I legit LOLed through the whole thing. I didn't think cleaning could be so entertaining.
I don’t have a sister but if I did, I would want to pick you! I’ve been binging your videos this week and I’ve already organized so much! Every time I get tired or frustrated I watch another video and I’m back in the game. Thank you so much Cas!
I was in a head on collision in 1998 where a 19 year old boy crossed a double yellow line to avoid rear ending the car in front of him. Well he hit me head on instead, he was in a very large truck and his truck came up on top of the hood of the truck I was in. I passed out from the crash. The force of the impact even caused the back end of my truck to swipe the car in the lane next to me. It was a REALLY bad accident that the police said I was lucky to be alive. I had REALLY bad PTSD from it where I would have panic attacks while driving. I had to go through therapy which thankfully helped a lot. I still can get a little nervous sometimes while driving, but not too much anymore.
The moon walk ... hilarious! Actually so much of this video was hilarious. I may have to go back and rewatch and pay attention to the tips you shared, I was so distracted with the humor. Thanks for the laugh out loud moments.
@@Clutterbug you are truly amazing. As a fellow adhder, with 3 kids, you’ve inspired me to see the positives of having it and that it can be portrayed as a super power. I honestly don’t know how I could’ve gotten through my mess of a home (and brain) without you and your content. 💕
Love you Cas you are the best, thank you for your dedication and help you provided to us, Iam a very old subscriber and eventually we bought a house and you can’t even imagined how much your videos had helped me to set things up, . Family of three but my husband is as messy as having 3 toddlers.
Thank you for the 5 minute routine you shared a while back. I have been mostly bedridden for 4 years, and I have a long way to go before I can dare let anyone enter my downsized space. When I focus on "just 5 minutes," I accomplish something and lie back down to recover from the exertion. I see progress--minimal, but tiny steps will still take me toward a goal. Watching the speed of this video was exhausting. I will now allow recovery time and then get up to tackle another small area for 5 minutes.
The tip to take a picture really helps. I found that out on accident. I'd take a cute pic of my cats and decide not to post it to whatever social media because I'd realize there was clutter in the pic that I didn't want anyone to see! :D
My mom hired a maid to clean and kicked me out of the house while she was there so I never really learned the secrets either. This is great. I love the videos.
This RUclips channel has been great for me. I've spent a good part of the last two days decluttering - it feels so good to get clutter out of my house before Christmas. I took a large donation of clean blankets & old throws to my local animal shelter yesterday and sent donations to two other places. Thanks, Cas, for the inspiration. A perfect time for a next driving lesson would be Christmas morning - there will be almost no traffic!!
I love Cass! The toilet cleaning part when she says, "something either has to be longer or legs shorter". HA!!! The term Olfactory Adaptation, LOL. I just call it "noseblind".
I smile every time a Clutterbug video comes on my notification... reminds me of when I moved out on my own and you ( as Malitose 79 ) and Do it on a Dime were how I learned to clean and organize at 18 years old in my 1st apartment ❤
I'm 63 and still clean my own house. This is the best cleaning video I've seen and I'm going to incorporate your ideas. Thank you so much. PS, my robot vaccum gets lost and runs out of gas. I'm trying to do better, but it's tough.
You’re so amazing love all your videos! I finished working and I feel overwhelmed looking at my house so here I am watching your videos and you made me feel so so much better! Love your honesty!! ❤super thanks for being you and always creative and inspiring! Yes always!
Brilliant video, keeping it real Cas. Love it! And, yes to the driving anxiety. I have a small community bubble where I feel okay driving, as long as there is music cranking that I can sing along to. As soon as I go out of my bubble, the anxiety. My son started a new job where I have to drive out of my bubble. What lane should I drive in, watch out for the merging traffic, don't go too slow on the freeway, don't miss the turn off, stay in the correct turning lane. Oh my goodness. My partner helped me with several practice runs. Driving anxiety, I feel ya.
Hello Cas from the carribean Islande of Saint-Martin. Am taking a minute to say i appreciate all the hard work you puts into these videos! I really love how real and genuine you are. Thanks again and Happy Holidays to you and your familys. ❤
Something I learned a long time ago from my father-in-law of all people, is that cleaning glass and mirrors with just water only is really the best option. You just get some water on your hand from the sink. Sprinkle it all over the mirror wipe it down with a paper towel maybe do a second Round of that if it’s really bad and poof it’s beautiful and streak free.
I needed this video. My great niece and her mom whom I never see are coming to meet my toddler granddaughter for the first time. They asked when, I said any day. My house was clean, then baby got sick, I got sick and the house is a wreck now. I have a horrid cough that keeps me up all night so I haven’t been tidying at all. Last night I semi straightened the baby’s room and started laundry. I need to bring this house back quick. And finish getting well.😭I know what you mean about your own stink, I have a 100 pound Doberman that I am immune to her smell. Thanks Cass!😘
Thanks for sharing this! I needed it! Driving is my biggest anxiety trigger, so I completely understand what you're dealing with. Through medication, our village, and lots of prayer, I, too, taught my daughters how to drive! 😂 We all survived!
I suffer from Panic Disorder which has caused me to be terrified of being in a car for too long or too far away from my house. I haven't been more than 15 miles away from home in over 5 years. It's devastating, embarrassing, and frustrating. You are doing the right thing by forcing yourself to learn how to drive the firetruck knowing you have anxiety. That's something to be super proud of! Thank you for sharing with us and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Send that adorable daughter to driving school! I sent my daughter not fighting arguing. My grandson went a year ago, so easy. The toilet, I knew a guy in high school his mother made the boys and men who visited her house to get on their knees to use the toilet. No mess! Great video Cass! You made me laugh!
Hi Cas!! Thank You for this it takes me awhile to clean especially recovering after open heart surgery. But watching this will get things done much quicker. Thank You for your video tips and your funny humor that goes along with it.🥰💜
Always love you videos. Best thing for your toilet seat...get a quick release seat. No screw driver required to take the seat off to clean under. You'll get your 6 minute clean back. 😉 Happy Holidays and thank you for always brightening my day. 🫶
I always enjoy watching your videos. They bring me joy even if my home stays a crazy mess because I have too much stuff and am lazy. Lol I'll get to it someday.
Big time driving anxiety, especially on freeways and areas I don't know well. Throw in night driving vision is getting worse.... I drive back roads in daylight whenever reasonable. So today I hit the road to visit a friend for the holiday. Normally about 2hr. 15min. on back roads. I got a late start for many reasons. Throughout the trip about 30 min got added to my eta. This meant I was driving in the dark, unfamiliar roads, continously being rerouted. Then my friends driveway is hard to see in the day on a busy road so I missed it. Now late... her son was such a gem and stood at the end of the driveway with a lantern. Oh and one detour in the dark was over a bridge under construction.... ya... no more out of town driving at night for me. Cas I love this video and well all of them really. Thank you for your contribution ❤
This is my favorite video yet!! Your humor and authenticity is a breath of fresh air! It was so funny that you said you think you are passing your anxiety onto your daughter, because, in that very moment I was romanticizing the thought of us being “besties” but then thinking “🤔 I wonder if her energy would recharge me or drain me” 😂😂😂
You’re so real I absolutely love it. I’m gonna actually subscribe because I need to see everything you’ve put up. A housewife around house at six. I also homeschool so clutter is a constant fight.
I am the exact same with driving! And the loud music to calm the anxiety of driving, I have adhd! I feel seen, I’ve never heard anyone link all 3 together, just like that!thank you. Wishing you and your family the most wonderful Christmas ❤
Oh my gosh, have just come across this channel and now I have another addictive channel to watch...... What are you doing to me!!!!!! Gonna take me a while to get to this 30 minute stage (deep clean needed first), but gosh am I going to be sooooo happy when I do get there.
I have driving anxiety too, but it wasn’t always the case. It’s only been a few years (I’ve been driving for over 30 years now). Actually there is so much road age nowadays, and so many people driving either intoxicated or without a license that I just don’t trust other drivers anymore 🤷🏻♀️
THIS is why I love you! You’re SO normal and so fun! Thankyou for motivating me to get off the couch with my warm fuzzy blanket and spend a few minutes making my main areas smile
Always have a simmer pot going this time of year. Takes me back to growing up in a house with wood heat. My grandmother always had a pot of water for humidity and she added orange peeling and cinnamon sticks during winter. Makes the house smell great!
You're one of my heroes ❤️. Thanks for sharing your driving phobia, and it never occurred to me mine might be caused by ADHD. Terrified of driving over bridges. (I live on an island, lol.)
Driving is the worst! I'm a pretty terrible passenger, too. When my kids were younger they politely suggested that I put a bag over my head so I wouldn't freak out about every other car on the road 🤣
Hi from Germany! My mum never showed me how to clean and I thought something is wenn with me cause I can clean the whole day and my home stays untidy . Thank you for all the tips cause now I see the difference and now I even like cleaning cause I see my house is clean afterwards ❤❤❤
GET READY BIN has changed my life!! We just moved and our master bathroom is microscopic. Now I have my morning stuff in a bin that fits in 1 of our 2 tiny drawers.
Cas, I LOVE it when your quirk hangs out! You are SO genuine and that's why we love you. Plus, I completely agree about the tips! Love my Roborock Vacuum/mop. I'm telling my hubby that he bought me a new one for Christmas.
Yes! Amen to the car anxiety! I have it so bad my husband refuses to let me drive anymore. I am a bit agoraphobic in that I will only drive by myself on specific routes and never leave my city unless someone else drives. I really need to look into defensive driving courses or therapy or something 😅
Hey Cas, I rarely comment on any channel but wanted to share how much I love your videos. This one had me feeling motivated (for next Christmas haha) but also I felt really inspired by how "you" you are on screen. I also wanted to share that I passed my driving test just before my 40th birthday - more than 5 years after I first started learning. I was so anxious, that it took me that long before I felt brave enough to book my test! I was late-diagnosed as autistic at 38, and I'm currently on the (very long) waiting list for an ADHD assessment. I *need* to play music when driving too - and it has to be music that my brain knows well. I never did it with my instructor, so I didn't realise how much of a difference it made. I'm on the motorway weekly now, and I honestly don't think I could enjoy driving this much if I hadn't discovered that music soaked up that extra anxious attention! Thank you for sharing - makes me feel less alone, and I imagine it will help others too xx
This story about teaching your daughter to drive brings back memories from my experience with my mom. Her anxiety had me give up on driving for 2 years and then when I was finally ready I got someone else to help me learn. To this day I have driving anxiety and parking
Hilarious !!! I’ve never seen you be so funny before !!! Loved it all!!! Love that you have adhd and anxiety 🤣🤣 I can relate !! 😂Also love that you’re Canadian !!! 🇨🇦🤗👍😎
My husband is like u too that's why I never ever drive. He did the same to my sons but I am always around to tell him to stop but no one was there to stop him when I drive.
I needed this SO MUCH!!! Am adhd and my house is a cyclone for reasons unbeknownst to me 🤣. ThankU for giving me the answer to why I CONSTANTLY go in circles while trying to clean, leaving the room and never getting any 1 room finished completely. I’m on Amazon now buying that housekeepers caddy… thank you!❤
Driving anxiety is a huge part of me. I had a brain injury several years ago and have problems remembering things- plus I have ADHD also. I taught 2 daughters to drive and am starting to teach my youngest. I feel your pain. 😂
You are hysterical! Even my husband was cracking up. I loved the tips and you're correct, we should be doing this every day. I'm working on it!!! And yes, let your husband teach your kids how to drive. I did that as it made me so nervous too and my kids were very grateful.
I gave up driving at 70. Luckily I live in a city with good public transport and I get Ubers when I need to. My husband still drives, but i am very nervous, won't travel far, and always sit in the back. My son does drive us occasionally, and I sit in the back. Often I look at my phone. I can't bear motorways and feel terrified. Thanks for the great, fun, video. I'm going to clean the toilet now! 😂😂
I feel like you just described me. I, too, sit in the back seat while my husband drives and I often have to close my eyes or distract myself with my phone. It is especially bad on highways and bridges!!! I completely understand and now share my anxiety because so many others have it as well. ❤
Can we take a minute and appreciate all the hard work Cas puts into these videos?! I love how real and genuine she is.
Totally agree!!
Her video production lady does a great job. She hired the right person.
Yes, that's why i'm watching her for years.
And how cute is she in that apron? ☺️

Thank You for your video tips and your funny humor that goes along with it.🥰💜
So glad you liked it! Wishing you a speedy recovery!
@ Thank You Cas!! Merry Christmas!!💜
Always love you videos. Best thing for your toilet seat...get a quick release seat. No screw driver required to take the seat off to clean under. You'll get your 6 minute clean back. 😉 Happy Holidays and thank you for always brightening my day. 🫶
With 3 boys in the house, a quick release toilet seat is the best thing I ever found 😂
Thanks!
Swiffer duster = Magic Wand. Love that thing! Love your videos! Happy Holidays!
Right? It's amazing!
I always enjoy watching your videos. They bring me joy even if my home stays a crazy mess because I have too much stuff and am lazy. Lol I'll get to it someday.
I love the comedic version of you !!! I ❤️every version 😊
I'm so glad!
You got this!
Yay! You got this!
Yes! Nose blind is a thing. Lol! Thanks so much for the print out & great tips. Wooohoooo! 🥳🤗
You’re welcome!
Love you Cas! I am falling over in laughter😂 Thank you for the video!
Always have a simmer pot going this time of year. Takes me back to growing up in a house with wood heat. My grandmother always had a pot of water for humidity and she added orange peeling and cinnamon sticks during winter. Makes the house smell great!
That’s such a sweet memory! And it’s the perfect way to create a cozy Christmas vibe. Merry Christmas!
@ Merry Christmas!
Okay when Cas started remixing thrift shop I had a whole new appreciation for her 😅❤
Thanks for brightening my day
You’re welcome!
I have the driving anxiety issue, too. I get panic attacks driving. Love your videos. You are disarming and awesome.
Me too! I can’t even drive highways or bridges. I do everything to avoid certain roads. I’m only comfortable driving in my area.
I thank you so much for this video; I’m having company and I want to do the same thing you’re doing. Thank you for the shortcuts 🎄💚❤️🎄
You’re so welcome!
Hi from Germany! My mum never showed me how to clean and I thought something is wenn with me cause I can clean the whole day and my home stays untidy . Thank you for all the tips cause now I see the difference and now I even like cleaning cause I see my house is clean afterwards ❤❤❤
You are so fun to watch. I’m a short cut cleaner too. I also have anxiety driving on the interstate. Merry Christmas y’all.
Glad you think so!
GET READY BIN has changed my life!! We just moved and our master bathroom is microscopic. Now I have my morning stuff in a bin that fits in 1 of our 2 tiny drawers.
yay! That's awesome!
Clutterbug u bring good advice❤😊who agrees with me
I'm so glad you think so!
Me too!❤
You have a GIFT!!! You are funny, so funny, and smart and organized and helping us all!! Love you girl!!
This is something that I could use all year around.
Absolutely!
I like your honest attitude and humor ❤
Cas you are the best! You always give great tips, but best of all, you are SOOOOOO fun! You always motivate me and make me laugh too! 😂
Glad to hear it!
Your personality is so fantastic!
I’m so glad you think so!
This is one of my favorite videos of you! ❤ I loved seeing this silly side of you.
Cas ❤❤❤ love your living room & thank you for this!!!! 🎉 & the clutter a-ha TAKE A PHOTO!! works
You’re welcome!
This story about teaching your daughter to drive brings back memories from my experience with my mom. Her anxiety had me give up on driving for 2 years and then when I was finally ready I got someone else to help me learn. To this day I have driving anxiety and parking
Loved this video! You have a great sense of humor!😂😊
you make me laugh with your silliness Cas!! Love your videos and all your tips!
*I'm riddled with the end* ❤
Anxiety in everything. But getting better. Certain seasons better than others. Thanks for this video. 😊
Thank you so much Cas. Your Work IS so important. ❤❤❤
Now i have to watch some Butterfliy Videos. 🥰☺️
I’m on Amazon now buying that housekeepers caddy… thank you!❤
You're so welcome - and the tidy tote will definitely help you get your rooms done!!
Driving anxiety is a huge part of me. I had a brain injury several years ago and have problems remembering things- plus I have ADHD also. I taught 2 daughters to drive and am starting to teach my youngest. I feel your pain. 😂
Merry Christmas ⛄🎁🎄!
Fabulous! ❤ I agree with you... the environment is important but not at the price of my sanity!! Merry Christmas Cas 🎄 x
❤
The book Zen Driving helped me a lot.
