What I find interesting is that in solo mini gunner is undoubtedly the best dps tower (at least that’s what the math says) because 40 max minis can do around 6000 dps but costs 1m to place. And you only can really get that kinda money in solo. All maxed gminis can only deal half as much dps but cost 300k which is the kinda money you can get in quad. Tds had a really balanced dps tower meta rn I hope they don’t mess it up

They made default Minigunner better than Golden Minigunner, because default Minigunner handles boss stuns much better, and they basically have the same DPS-to-cost ratio.
G mini takes much more grinding time, and even after that its a random chance of getting it (unless you already have the other 5 golden towers). G mini being better than accel makes sense, but sometimes accel is still could be more useful in squads for certain situations, like when you bring commander and another dps tower because of the 20 placement limit. For example, if put 8 accel, 7 rangers, and 3 commanders, that's 18 of the 20 tower slots which doesn't fill it up completely but it's still better than g mini. If you place 15 g mini then you can only place 3 commanders and 2 rangers.
G mini is very good of a dps tower now. But in squads, you're better off using 3 turrets, 8 accels, and 6 engis for 17 towers and a total dps of 5,981.09 compared to the 3,333.33 dps of 15 g minis. However, don't forget commanders. 1 50% firerate buffed max g mini does 353 dps, so 15 of that would be 5,293.5 dps. So in conclusion, that means that yes turret, accel, and engi is a better combination lol I did all of that for nothing Edit: BUT WAIT! Mercenary base also gives a 20% damage buff, which means 1 50% firerate buffed and 20% damage buffed g mini does a whopping 423 dps. This makes 15 buffed g minis do a total of 6,353 dps, which is more than what you said. BUT WAIT AGAIN! The towers you stated can also be buffed. So we'll say that 1 buffed engi does 468 dps, meaning 6 of them would do 2,808 dps. Accel is a hard one, since the higher boosted firerate and damage makes its overcharge fill up faster, so I'll just use the equation used from the wiki to figure out that one. Apparently it does 450 dps, so 8 accels would do 3,600 dps. I'm just not gonna calculate the turret one along with this, since these two towers are already over 15 g minis. 6 engis and 8 accels do 6,408, which, is already over the dps of 15 g minis, and this is without turret. So I did all these calculations for nothing, and I just wasted my time. Thank you for reading this.

They made default Minigunner better than Golden Minigunner, because default Minigunner handles boss stuns much better, and they basically have the same DPS-to-cost ratio.

there's one small issue corso. golden mini can no longer damage leads at lvl 3 cuz they removed it's lead penetration

G mini takes much more grinding time, and even after that its a random chance of getting it (unless you already have the other 5 golden towers). G mini being better than accel makes sense, but sometimes accel is still could be more useful in squads for certain situations, like when you bring commander and another dps tower because of the 20 placement limit. For example, if put 8 accel, 7 rangers, and 3 commanders, that's 18 of the 20 tower slots which doesn't fill it up completely but it's still better than g mini. If you place 15 g mini then you can only place 3 commanders and 2 rangers.

G mini is very good of a dps tower now. But in squads, you're better off using 3 turrets, 8 accels, and 6 engis for 17 towers and a total dps of 5,981.09 compared to the 3,333.33 dps of 15 g minis. However, don't forget commanders. 1 50% firerate buffed max g mini does 353 dps, so 15 of that would be 5,293.5 dps. So in conclusion, that means that yes turret, accel, and engi is a better combination lol I did all of that for nothing
Edit: BUT WAIT! Mercenary base also gives a 20% damage buff, which means 1 50% firerate buffed and 20% damage buffed g mini does a whopping 423 dps. This makes 15 buffed g minis do a total of 6,353 dps, which is more than what you said.
BUT WAIT AGAIN! The towers you stated can also be buffed. So we'll say that 1 buffed engi does 468 dps, meaning 6 of them would do 2,808 dps. Accel is a hard one, since the higher boosted firerate and damage makes its overcharge fill up faster, so I'll just use the equation used from the wiki to figure out that one. Apparently it does 450 dps, so 8 accels would do 3,600 dps. I'm just not gonna calculate the turret one along with this, since these two towers are already over 15 g minis. 6 engis and 8 accels do 6,408, which, is already over the dps of 15 g minis, and this is without turret. So I did all these calculations for nothing, and I just wasted my time. Thank you for reading this.
Well, if u use turret accel engineer u would only have only 2 more spaces, with g mini 4 spaces.
I feel like bringing 3 dps towers is stupid unless you’ve got a team that’s planning for each support the reason is there’s 4 support towers dj mercenary base commander and medic and that’s not including side supporters like frost blaster and the other support towers let’s say you everyone’s bring 1 of each and farm your left with 3 slots where your gunna want to bring early dps so either way someone’s gunna bring g mini for it’s 15 placement and engi as all you’ve got to do is use those 2 to do the max dps for 2 slots also this isn’t including ranger and pursuit which are strong splash towers and are used a lot also with g mini

Cant believe its dps used to be 130, for a golden tower thats so horrid. Always puzzled me, i thought it shld be at least 180dps, i used to run G crook over G mini because crook literally does more dps

Well, since the golden crate price, you maybe take an entire month grinding to get one golden crate, and you probably not going to get golden mini.
But dont get upset, keep grinding until you get it.
