Honestly Neko dj is my favourite song and skin design. That will 100% change when the Miku skin comes out though since I’m a huge fan of vocaloid music. Neko dj also does that funny little ai cat dance meme for the first few levels.
The ghost skins are supposed to be see through and don't have faces. Ghost dj breaks both of those by having a face and non-transparent clothing. Also, they're most likely going to rerealese it to new people who didn't go through the pain of completing the event, Tbh, they ruined my fav tower with that.

Apparently I've seen things about people not liking how it diverts away from the original concept with the DJ now being a woman (at least in the community server), which is a pretty terrible reason to hate this skin; it is wonderfully designed and the fact that it's getting hate over actual sexism is mind boggling for a game like this.
I personally feel like current neon rave dj’s design is dope but the color scheme kinda kills the rave vibe. I liked the RGB effects it used to have. The sexism part everyone has against it is mad weird though I don’t get why that’s an issue.

normal dj starts off with gear you usually find at home, his dj desk is literally just a plastic table at level 1, but as you upgrade him, the money actually goes to him so he can get better gear every level
They should've built on the old dj's model wouldve been way better if the old dj model would just start absolutely hitting some overexagerated dance moves similar to the old dj with fire ocassionally coming out on each end of the booth with more than nessesary neon lights, the new one just looks too calm for a rave

They should've built on the old dj's model wouldve been way better if the old dj model would just start absolutely hitting some overexagerated dance moves similar to the old dj with fire ocassionally coming out on each end of the booth with more than nessesary neon lights, the new one just looks too calm for a rave
