Voice acting is pretty damn good for the most part although there are a couple of ropey ones but what else should we expect for the price of nothing haha. I do wish they'd nerfed the proximity dialogue a bit though. We really don't need to be told about a missed career in farming for the 50th time.

Caltrops are amazing. The charging enemy stops for a second from them, like deadly overpowered cthulthu foxes. Ok they are normal foxes but terrifying here.
I made it to level 3 in the prolog just crafting the heck out of them. Proceeded to just sell them as they didn't fit my playstyle/head-cannon. But, for my next playthrough I want to try going stealthy.... So that might be a great idea.

Im pretty sure horse chestnuts aka “ conkers” are pretty poisonous! Chestnuts are scrummy but conkers not so much. Acorns properly processed can be ok roasted but you have to know what you’re doing. Winston is definitely Jay Blade no question of it!
Must confess when i got bodies near a merchant i take everything to her, those hooligans had at least 100 caps on them (rusty weapons, etc.). Also i wonder if in this mod picking up a weapon gives you any ammo as in Fallout 4? If so it well worth it even if you drop it after.
@@MolnarG007 as far as I've experienced in FOLON yes. I haven't been paying specific attention or have hard numbers, but I have noticed my ammo count marginally increasing beyond when I loot straight ammo vs picking up a dropped gun. Then again it might just be a placebo effect.
The sad thing is, you might think it is a satirical stereotype, but actually Shrapnel is 100% each and every single person working in the field of demolition, ordnance disposal, etc. Seriously, it is the field where you end up if as a kid you giggle when everyone else screams in panic.
Lol they deffo need to have some more diverse one-liners for the npc's, or at least tone down the frequency they utter them. Haven't gotten around to playing the mod yet, but I know for sure it will drive me mad.

I've been a bit disappointed in the Sleepwalker trait. In about 10 sleep sessions, I've awakened in a strange place, only once. Maybe they should make it such that, if you have pizza before bed, you end up someplace strange.

I'm not upset, I was just suprised more than anything. I tend to do more good to goodish characters. But yeah, Leonard was a full on sociopath, so if he is your main experience of my videos, then no surprise that you felt I tended towards evil :) But I'd say that Doug is more or a rough and tumble guy. Definitely not snooty, but absolutely snarky. And I'd say somewhere in the middle when it comes to selfish. He's not against helping people, but he's also absolutely trying to help himself too. But he's not evil like Leonard. You want to see a really selfish character. Barry, from my alternate Let's Play of Nuka World. Now there was a character that I designed to be utterly hated :)
I mean for a Bethesda mod, I'm surprised he even though of trying to climb a ladder. Much more that they made a climbing animation, rather than just popping him up there.
im confused is he playing on survival? if so how is food healing him food doesn't heal on survival i dont think... unless my game is fucked. Or maybe he just wants to sleep for rp purposes

@@GophersVidstry reading books or exercise keep it simple, push ups til fail(even if just 1), jumping Jack's I do 50+ before bed if I feel too awake. Exhaust yourself. But reading could be good. Sleep apnea could be a thing so keep head propped up a bit. I DO NOT recommend melatonin for sleep I use to do it draw backs over a week were restless leg syndrome (very bad, cried one night, couldn't sleep with it, never again) and melatonin you get use to it fast and will have to stop and always drawback on stopping pills. Restless gets worse.
i remember inwas in Greece IRL, they were selling fruits 1 kg for x, but 5 kg only 2x. Ended up buying too much... That walk back to the hotel, noon, sun burning... 40 Celsius... heavy weights... it felt like French Legion. Then i had the idea let's eat some, less weight. It was way worth afterwards felt my stomach ready to throw up. Yes I'm a loot goblin.

I think the odd flat performance is made more stark and noticeable because the rest of the dialog is so professional sounding. It happens.

Yes. Picking up weapons does give you a bit of the ammo that was remaining in the gun.

There is such an abundance of healing food in the game, that I always sell my stimpacks. Food heals quicker too, no animation 😁
Early on, food is better. Late game, stimpaks will heal more.

I imagine it’s because the mod may not be balanced for it and if it crashes or something you don’t want your last save to have been hours ago
