Surely it's because I just finished playing The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe... but the beginning of "This is the story of a man named Leonard." for sure gave me a sense of Deja-Vu. ^w^ Thanks for this recap/summary of Leonard's journey up until now, as it serves perfectly as a refresher. Looking forward to see his journey continue.
To whoever asked that question, I can't recommend enough that you go watch the previous chapters if you have time. Trust me, it's worth it you wont regret it.
Leonard is the kind of character that you absolutely despise, and yet you enjoy doing so because he's just that ridiculous of a person that you can't help but laugh at his terrible self.
As I look back upon Gopher's stable of characters, e.g., Stiv, Leonard, Jack, etc., there seems to be a 'moral flexibility' that most of them have in common. Most of them also seem to be quite at home in a Terry Pratchett novel, Leonard in particular. I cant speak for Godkrieg, or Gopher's nameless "evil illusionist" character, but i cant help but think all these characters are shards of Gopher's personality thst dont get aired out very often. Enough rambling: Leonard and Inigo ride again! 🍻
Ah, you forgot Richard. You know the guy who thought everyone was possibly a 'nice guy' until they shot him or ran at him with a sword. LOL Couldn't help but laugh at the "how do I know if he's really a bad guy" attitude. No moral flexibility there, I think.
@@Jimmyinvictus Well, I worry about Richard...(I'm old, I can't help but worry about things that have absolutely no bearing on anything) as most people seem to forget the poor guy. Sorry if I offended, didn't mean to. Honest.
@@Jimmyinvictus Oh, and so much fun! Thank goodness for Inigo, though! Our dear Leonard would be lost without him "kill it, kill it" Leonard screams! LOL
This was awesome! Also as I started watching it I went "and trousers" and then you said it and I grinned. And later on I went "and Thane of Everywhere" and you said it and yeah, a big grin. Great stuff! Also Leonard doing bard things to get his story out more so he can then go and become Emperor maybe would be a great thing to achieve. hehe
Oh, I am so with you on that one! It was good the first time, the second time allowed more outright laughter, the third time had me counting how many times he said "it's rare" (a trait he shared with his character Richard - who holds the record by and by) and now the fourth has me shaking my head as I just don't understand how it can be so very funny STILL!
OK.... now I'm *definitely* going to rewatch the series; this was great! 😆 So many fun memories and moments! EDIT: And I did... Though, I will confess, I began at the "Torches, Torches Everywhere" episode, since that is when Inigo enters the story. Not that Leonard isn't great on his own, obviously, but I just love the way they play off of one another. Not to mention, Inigo is one of those wonderful mods that makes the whole world feel more alive, no matter the playthrough.
Well, you can do what I do...start the playlist and before you log off of Google, go to "settings", then scroll to "On Startup", scroll down to where it says "use current pages". When you log back into your google, whatever you had opened will open again where you left off. It's been a lifesaver for me. Hope it works for you.
A quick question for anyone who might have an answer. I currently have the SE version of Skyrim on PC and don't really want to upgrade to the Anniversary edition in case some of my favorite mods don't work for it. Does anyone know what will happen if I download either of Kinggath's creation's ( East Empire Expansion, Bard's College) that are available for SE ? Will it force my game to upgrade to the Anniversary edition or will they work just fine with SE ? I assume it should be just fine but I tried to Google the question and couldn't get a straight answer so I thought I'd ask here in case someone could give me a more concrete yes or no. Thanks in advance to whoever responds.
The anniversary upgrade is basically a paid DLC which gives you all the old Creation Club content. It doesn't actually update the game itself, so I don't see how having it (or not) could possibly cause an issue. Or do you mean you're still on the old SE 1.5 version? (people often mistakenly refer to the SE 1.6 update as Anniversary Edition). In which case I don't think it's even possible for you to buy the new paid mods anyway.
*Clears throat.* I'M A NAKED PIRATE!
My favourite chapter trailer!! 😂
Still need that merch...shut up and take my money 💰
I wanted this on a t-shirt
Christmas is coming up..sure would love to buy some Naked Pirate stuff..
All those chapters precised in 12.34 minutes. Nothing compares to the real thing. Go and watch them. You'll be glad you did.
Indeed! And I loved all of it 😅
I've enjoyed the series all 3.5 times...working on completing my 4th complete viewing.
I still remember Leonard’s Epic Quest For A Torch. 😂 Good times. I’ve missed Lenny and Inigo. Very happy we’ll get to see more of them.
I am so excited for Leonard's return! I've really missed the Let's Play Skyrim series.
Looking forward to watching more of Inigo's story with his sidekick Leonard.
I luuurve Inigo. Will not enter Skyrim without him.
Ok, now I have to rewatch the entire series all over again 😁

Leonard got me thru the worst job of my life, and for that I am thankful.
"I thought his real name was ......... "
The person typing this has been poisoned before they could complete their message.
I saw it scrawled in an old cave "His real name is AHHHHHHHGH!"

Leonard and the search for a bed with sheets!
Nice recap, thank you!

Leonard's reaction to Paarthurnax is still one of the funniest things ever ^^
I'm very excited to see the return of Leonard and Inigo
Thanks for the summary! It made me want to binge the entire series again.
i always find it so funny that leonard has a sort of kindred spirit in neloth and he hates him more than anyone else

@@amyduncancinder hi Amy! I didn't forger Richard-but as you pointed out, Richard (like Frank) was a pretty straight-shooter. Literally. 😉

Rewatch complete! 😁Kidding aside, this is a great recap, and having all the chapter links together is a nice touch.
"Murder Hobos"..... Bwahahaha
'Emperor Leonard Septim' sounds quite pleasant, doesn't it?
This makes me excited for the next chapter, right after I finish rewatching all of the chapters for the fourth time.

Reader's Digest would be jealous so glad to have you back!!!
Seriously, I didn't realize how much I've missed your Skyrim playthroughs. I grinned throughout. Thanks Gopher.
"Murder hobos." I like it! Excellent summary! I now find myself contemplating a new playthrough.
As much as I love, adore and worship Stiv, Leonard is definitely your greatest Skyrim playthrough.
I ADORE that callout to the final scene from the movie Snatch! Such a great film!
"Anything to declare?"
"Yeah, don't go to England."
Thank you so much for this Gopher! I stopped following at Chapter 5, but I have many fond memories of Leonard and Inigo. Your roleplaying is awesome
Damn we got tricked hard by gopher I thought this was the east empire expansion
In another life Leonard drove a Jaaaaag!

Leonard looks like Julian from Trailer Park Boys. Needs to carry a glass of rum and coke.
Let the show begin!
Aaaa I'm so happy to see this series back!!! ❤
This is the story of a man named Stanl----Leonard.
yeah Leonard is one i only knew thru being referenced so nice to have a summary.
We all know pants equals sign of intelligence/life.
No, 'trousers'! LOL🤣
I forgot how much I missed Leonard!
I started a second watch trough a bit ago. It will be put on hold when chapter 11 airs....
Leonard: The Search for Pants.
Gopher is up to something!
Worst? Leonard is THE Dragonborn!
Leonard is the greatest Elder Scrolls character ever invented. Bethesda would be wise to put him in TES VI.
Ah the armored troll, that was fun
Alas, poor Terrance.
I heard Bethesda game studios is looking for competent storytellers...
Leonard looks an awful lot like Bronn from Game of Thrones does he not.
So fucking excited for this
I have a question for all of Gopherdom. How do you keep track of where you are in a series? Is there a handy way to do this?
Well, you can do what I do...start the playlist and before you log off of Google, go to "settings", then scroll to "On Startup", scroll down to where it says "use current pages". When you log back into your google, whatever you had opened will open again where you left off. It's been a lifesaver for me. Hope it works for you.
Any chance you can do this for all the Skyrim characters? Richard ect
SO. EXCITED.
Love it!
Yes!!!!!

Adding to the other reply, I know that BCE relies on the Resource Pack files added in game version 1.6.1130.
🤘🦁
Anyone else see Leonard`s resemblance to Steven Seagal? Lol
