We met two years ago while studying abroad in london. and for two years from across the ocean, we make the effort together. Story 1: My now husband, then boyfriend, moved to another state to be with me. I wasn't willing to sacrifice the career I worked so hard for. He respected my hard work so much that he never even asked me to leave it behind. Even now he says, I can get work doing anything anywhere but I can't get another you. In short: If he prioritized you and your happiness, he would. It goes both ways, but my husband never questioned the decision and now has a job he loves and is very successful in.
I live a rural area and my commute is normally 45 minutes. We currently had to shift to one vehicle and I drive just over an hour each way to get to work. But I love listening to THT and FKS every morning. It gets my brain, active and thinking, while being entertaining. Love you guys!❤

Justin’s advice on the last story about being direct when breaking up is so crucial. I agree 1000%. People hear what they want to hear, and letting them down gently or dancing around the subject will not be clear for them. I’ve been broken up with in that way and if it seems that there’s any chance or open door, then I’m convinced I just need to put more effort in to save the relationship. Being adamant that there is no relationship to save and it is fully over will definitely be best for everyone in the long run.
Story 5 I had an ex threaten to unalive himself if I left. I left then had the police do a wellness check on him. That was all the comfort I needed to know he was just manipulating me.
I had one do the exact same thing to me. He was put on a 72 hour hold and I got calls of him threatening me and telling me it was all my fault. It took a long time to realize it was all manipulative nonsense.

Polyamery only works with trust, communication and always respect for your partner. same situation as story 1 but different in I said I can not handle this anymore so we move to apartment to townhouse still my drive longer around 37km (one-way)but his is around 26km (one-way) however I’m adjusted myself cuz I see my dad drive 60km (one-way) to work and back home everyday for 20yrs so I think I can do it to. Not everyone will find perfect solution but depends on u still happy about it or not my bf before we move he stand on his feet and will not drive 62km(one-way) to see me even we want to live with each other. So, it depends on how you feel in these day I feel normal about driving because it became my routine and prep me to start my day better. p.s. I live in Bangkok and that is no way we gonna find perfect solution because high rent and most of it’s apartments that not allow pet (I’ve 4 cats) so we need to move around rural area since home,townhomes build outside city mostly drive very long (20-60km per way) so that’s why I yhink I can do that cuz it normal in society.

story 1 I work 45 minutes from home in a different city. I love it. I only have to work in office 3 days a week, but for those 3 days a week, I am in the car driving for 1.5-2 hours depending on traffic and weather. Do I look forward to the day that I live closer, absolutely. But it was the perfect job at the perfect time, so I had to make the decision. Also, I have my husband and a toddler, and my husband supports where I work.
I love just sitting there with the most disappointed look on his face in story 3. He seems so tired of some people and their BS in how they treat others, as he should!
