Awesome content. Very easy to understand! I’m a low player (Plat 1-3) trying to get to Diamond and this makes so much sense. Luckily, my qm’s I do much better with a win rate of 78% but that’s because I’m either playing English (pretty boring) or Abbasid. Not a lot of people play Rus at my level which is cool. One thing Rus needs to always keep in mind is that the Warrior Monks are really warriors, and they buff your units greatly. +1 attack (either melee or ranged) and + 2 armor (again, both melee and ranged) is HUGE in even fights.
I would like to see a guide on how to micro rus cav and their healing vs combat. My mounted priests tend to run in and die instead of healing during combat

In Castle Age it depends on variables like opponent comp/civ and your strategy. In the lategame/imperial with a good economy, I would say *"Streltsy + Spears + Mass Siege"* will deal with pretty much anything you throw at it. If gold is low, then crossbows substitue streltsy, and if no gold, then back to trash units for countering the enemy composition.
As a rus I always loose late game even when I apply pressure and get +40 vills more than the opponent :/ My suggestion is a guide on how to snowball or what to do in the late game?
I have a question, after all the deer/wolves are dead on the map, what do I do with my 3 scouts? Because technically you only need one scout to scout out what the enemy is building and doing, but what do I do with the other 2? Great video btw, very helpful!
Use them actively (all three of them), and then you can also consider getting professional scouts so you can deny deers from your opponent and force an early farm transition. :)
Hey @Valdemar, I have a question. I'm struggling getting sheep back in time, and I often have to move villagers to berries or risk being idle. They run out before I even get a 3rd scout. How can I modify this strategy so I get extra sheep back faster if my APM is kinda low.
With the new season hunting cabins build faster. Sending two villagers instead of 4 will give you ~the same build time as last season with 4. Would it be worth the ressources sending only two vills and therefore aging up a few seconds sooner? Also, if you gather 4 sheep (the two you see at the start + 2 additional) your villagers will not idle until you can age up (according to my testing). So my gold variation of this build is to let the first scout wander a bit around the TC to get all 4 sheep near you before you get on the map.
Someone tried this exact guide VS me. I was doing french cavalry rush, and I didn't allow the stone mining, he barely needed more stone ( I checked the supply, he didn't have 350 for TC ). He spawned milita via Kremlin, but he had to return villagers ( + he lost one ), and when he started chasing me, I just went back and forth. I also had 2 knights on his wood side, and I prevent the gather there aswell. He had so much trouble with eco, that even if he did everything by the book, i disrupt him so badly, that those 1-2 minutes allowed me such eco advantage, that he lost on pure economic disadvantage, because by the time he reached his second TC, it was already enough for me to advance, and get upgrades. Guess every guide has it's weakness, and the rush part is this weakness

I ( and I think more players ) have a problem against Ottomans Archer death ball. I lose it any time. I know that rus should be good against ottos, but I have no clue. My friend, also Otto main, loses like all games against me, if he plays Otto all in, he wins every single game. Its frustrating. I would be very happy to get an solution for that. I dont know what to do. FC? 2TC and defend? Aggressive? but his big amount of free units and the archer siphahi speer combo with rams kills me. and then, otto goes castle behind this for mangos. Maybe its an idea for you, or can you explain it? BTW Great Videos! Clean, with beautiful description from the build and explaining. Good stuff! Keep going on to RBW2

How can RUS effectively deal with HRE? If you scout FC would it be best to go 1 TC to rush units and deny relics, while trying to Castle yourself?

I recommend going 1tc vs Delhi as you need to pressure early. Never stop the pressure until you win in feudal.

You should run out of food from your starting sheep between 1:30 - 2:00. Try practicing having a scout coming back with sheep before that time. :)
