- In this episode "Woodcrafting Off Grid", I prepare the wood for some small improvements inside the cabin. This week, bad weather has caused a lot of damage and slowed down the work. The days are very unpredictable, but I managed to find a good sunny day. Time is passing and winter is approaching, but despite everything, I found time for some good cooking.

In minuto 14.41 fai vedere una erba medicinale - Hypericum perforatim. Io appena la raccolto e assecato per fare te in inverno. Va benissimo per te anche con Thymus, che ti ho detto tempo fa per miscella di erbette che faccio per carne e verdure.

Hi Alex, as I notice the weather has improved alot. Let's hope it will that way. Your ideas in creating somethings for your cabin is ofcourse "a must" - making racks for storing materialen, & keeping things tidy & neat, I agree Alex.
The lamp you mentioned - could be used back-up item for imergency situatie if needed. The food looks good - Happy Appetite.

Everything has changed a lot, but like here also in the rest of the world. So, in the first course I sautéed some speck, which is nothing more than pork leg, therefore smoked ham. Fry over a high heat with a little onion, a little onion. Then add the small mushrooms, champignons, and cook them over medium heat. Then add a little cooking cream to mix. You can season any pasta and white meat with it. I had cooked tortellini, pasta stuffed with meat.
Outside light would look pretty cool
I love outdoor lighting, just as a personal passion. At the moment I'm using "makeshift" lights, later I'll see how to enhance them better!
Keep the lamp as a carbide lamp. It is an excellent backup for light and a bit of heat and starting fires. The carbide is readily available and keeps forever in a well sealed container.
Carbide and water and you have light, no batteries to die.

How wonderful are those images you make with the drone, I really enjoy watching the beautiful surroundings of the cabin! I am wondering for some time now where you sleep in your cabin, maybe I didnt pay enough attention but can't figure it out! Keep healthy and save!
It's true, now that you make me think about it, it's something I never show, but I will. Nothing so mysterious, let's say something as practical as possible. The drone flights are always delicate, lots of trees to watch out for and often against the sun lol... in fact I'm already on my second drone, alas!

Hola, ese lirón tiene su propia historia. Son varios, pero nadie viene a visitarme, pero él sí. Lo vi lamiendo un poco de aceite de motosierra, tuve que esconderlo. Pensé que se moriría, pero en cambio se volvió más sociable (¡quién sabe qué le pusieron a ese aceite!)

Don't convert it. Source some carbide and use it as intended. They give a soft yelliw light tgat is really beautiful for photography ir filming at night.
Also, is electricity free, so if your solar or battery fails you can still have light.
Cuéntame porqué las dos estancias de la cabaña no son unidas por la parte interior? Eso me encantaría, pues quedaría la cabaña integrada y amplia. Es un trabajo duro, pero vale la pena. 😊
¡Con mucho gusto te lo explico! La parte donde estoy filmando ahora era originalmente la cocina y debajo de la cocina estaba la despensa, pero se puede acceder a ella desde el exterior. La parte más grande, abajo era un establo y arriba estaba el dormitorio. Los ambientes fueron separados hace 100 años, para separar totalmente a los animales de la comida.
La lampada la lascerei così come antiquariato....però se vuoi sbizzarrire....ti auguro buon lavoro per la baita...avrai delle difficoltà..però vedo che la tenacia non ti manca ... ciao ..alla prossima..

Interesante, lamentablemente el tanque está comprometido, por lo que la única solución es hacerlo eléctrico o con batería.
