Do you have RainX or similar glass treatment over there? You'll be amazed by how much it helps visibility during the rain, not to mention that dirt and ice don't stick as well after you apply it
These storm videos just make things seem sooo pesceful and relaxing. And noone does storm videos in a camper better than jarl. Always makes you feel as though youre there also

This just shows how quickly the weather can change. That sailboat really lives on the edge! And rain or shine, there are always boats at sea. You made yourself very comfortable in the van. Super cute fake fur on your bench. Great to stare outside for hours in all that coziness. I love that too. The midnight sun will soon be gone. How soon will it be dark again? Thanks Marinka, the the weather has turned tropical again and I am currently in Senja, spent some time out in a lovely place outside of Tromsø. I got so much video from this summer yet to make, i just skipped ahead a couple of weeks to release this storm:-) It gets dark fast, and come the end of August one might start to see Northern lights on occasion.
@@NorwegianXplorer My brother is travelling in a couple of weeks to Tromsø with his son. He is planning a trip from Tromsø to Alta, Hammerfest and like icing on the cake, to the Nordkapp. To see the northern lights again, is amazing!! It's so strange to have tropical temperatures in the arctic!

Magnificent video. My cat slept next to me while listening to the rain storm. I bet the sea air blowing through the van smells delightful. You really know how to live. A 10M mansion wouldn't even compare to the van's coziness and warmth in my opinion. Your delicious looking meals are award winning. That big cinnamon bun needed a cup of coffee, though. However, still looked tasty.

We're in hurricane season now till November. I'm hoping we don't get any hurricanes they can be quite devastating. I'm rescuing a black Labrador mixed from Texas who stole my heart and will be getting him within two weeks. I'm going to meditate now then I'll watch some more of your awesome adventures.
Stunning! Just stunning! That water was so blue and clear. I love thunderstorms. Just the sound of the thunder and flashes/bolts of lightening. Even when Mother Nature is annoyed, she is beautiful. Safe travels. Loving the sights and sounds from this epic journey!

I really enjoy thunderstorms. Always have. I live in eastern North Carolina and have grown up with hurricanes. I’m getting prepared in February because it’s costly. I don’t pray for them, but when they come I enjoy them. I don’t like that sometimes people lose their lives or homes but I have grown up with them and all the damage they bring. I am 76, so I have lived through the worst.

There is no better feeling than being in your motor home during a storm. In fact whenever there was a bad weather alert, I would head for the hills and just sit inside with my dogs , glass of wine and listen to the wind and rain outside

Nature can provide some pretty incredible light shows. I hope no one was injured as I saw some boats going out into the ocean before the lightning hit. Your weather app looked really good with the indication of lightning strike areas. Your second campsite with the island in the background was awesome. The birds flying by seemed to have an enormous wing span. Looked more like pterodactyls. Thanks for sharing Jarl.

Isn't it wonderful to be cozy in your van, warm, dry and with nice food and stunning views while the storm rages outside? I always feel uneasy when the rain comes. I don't know why it makes me anxious! So watching your videos is really helping me feel calmer with that.
Just when I think ur videos can’t improve……they do. I LOVED this place n time with u friend. I would go swimming n lay n the sun then sleep n the storms. I don’t remember a good peaceful sleep n so long. I think if I had been there I would’ve slept n slept n slept. I love ur added coziness. LOVED the shots of the lightening. Yesterday I was mowing n I watched a storm ease n with winds n lightning. I stayed out there still mowing coz I wasn’t scared. Of course my Jewish mother would’ve thrown a massive fit if she had known. But I stayed rite up till it began to pour. Weather is so fascinating how it changes n seconds. I seriously would love a house n this area. The views r too beautiful to describe. Thank u our friend. Thank u for ur efforts n taking us with u. My heart has taken many hard hits n I am more sad frustrated exhausted broken than I have been n my entire life. Loss of my son husband dad n job has left me n a place I can’t explain. But G-D is still with me n u allowed me an hour of going to another place to see Shane n close my eyes n the sounds of those rains. Jarl I wonder if u have any idea how special u r. I am 69 years old with health problems and a widow so I’m not gonna be traveling anywhere so this is the only way I get to see things. And I love watching you cook inside a van. Loss of my son husband dad n job has left me n a place I can’t explain. I really enjoy your videos and I love all the scenery I get to see. I am 69 years old with health problems and a widow so I’m not gonna be traveling anywhere so this is the only way I get to see things. And I love watching you cook inside a van. I barely cook inside my apartment. I really should start.

Thank you for presenting this video! I enjoyed experiencing the natural environment--rain, wind, water, lightning and thunder. The sound quality is awesome. It's very therapeutic. I've seen some of your other videos, too. I especially like the hurricane weather footage. Those were in Norway, I think. I visited Norway back in 2009, a beautifully haunting place.
