12/10 Statement by SJC, Chief Deputy District Atty, Beth O'Hara, on the Murder of Nicole Winans.

In a devastating incident early on December 6th, Nicole Winans, a mother of three and a business owner of Salon Envy & Boutique from Lodi, California, was fatally shot in the head by her estranged husband, Shane Winans. Nicole had recently separated from Shane, filing for divorce on November 6th. Shane the owner of Anchors Away Tattoo in Lodi, has been detained as the alleged perpetrator.
Dec 10 was his first court appearance. Chief Deputy District Attorney O'Hara gave a statement upon the continuance of the hearing date.
Nicole's long domestic violence history and cases with Shane were previously presided over by Judge Danielle Dunham-Ramirez, a former county counsel for San Joaquin County CPS and Judge Jonathan W.
