I am in my sixties and attend the temple as frequently as possible and, I found this video helpful and enlightening to me personally. It will be an excellent resource for grandchildren as they prepare to go to the temple for the first time.

I love this presentation! I wish that I had been given this explanation prior to going to the Temple for the first time all those many years ago. I had only been a member for about 1 1/2 year. I was quite nervous. Thankfully, there were people at every corner to help me along. Anyway, thank you for this! Oh, and by the way, I agree with you about the phrase some people use, "Take out your endowments." UGH! The endowments we receive in the Temple is neither a pizza, nor is it an inflamed appendix. It is a gift from Heavenly Father that we receive.

I wish this was available back when i received my endowment...... it was not a pleasant experience for me....i had no one to talk to.....no one to explain anything to me and back then they acted like you couldnt say ANYTHING about the temple or the ceremony which i now know is NOT true. Even tho I first went through the temple in 1989 I found this video really helpful. Thank you for this. I wish I had been able to see something like this before I first went through. I had the temple preparation classes & they didn’t help me at all. The temple is a very special place. I’m the only member in my family & around November 2019 I was able to be sealed to my Mum & Dad, who both died years before. It was a very special experience.

Thank you so much for this video. On the 4th of July 2021 I was baptized and have gone to the temple to do baptisms which was amazing. A few people have mentioned going to the temple to receive my endowment. I was confused on the process but this was extremely helpful. I know I have a few things to do before then like get a two year recommend after the one year mark, but I'm on my way.
I've gone through the temple and have struggled with it for some time. People make it seem Soo secretive you can't talk about ANYTHING! I honestly felt like I was in a cult and struggled with the temple. This has greatly helped and I hope to help my kids prepare better than I was. Garments are still a struggle for me at the moment though.

Probably the best video out there. Short , precise, and very informative. I’ve been going to the temple for 30 years and learn some great nuggets and helped put things into perspective.
Thank you. I really wish I had had this when I first went to the temple. I knew very little about what would happen and I was overwhelmed and confused. It was a highly stressful experience and it took me a while before I wanted to return, because I was so terrified to make mistakes. It took me a good ten years before I started to love the experience. It finally dawned on me that if it had to be perfect, it wouldn’t be done by us. I was finally able to relax and learn. Now I tell everyone I go with for their first time not to panic, they will always have wonderful people all around them to help, and they will wait for you and help if you are struggling with your clothing. It’s okay to make mistakes, the workers will help you. I still make mistakes after twenty years and no one cares. They will just help you correct it. It’s okay. They even have a room for you with people to help if you feel sick, or even faint because it happens on occasion. Just let one of the temple workers know and they will take very good care of you. If something is difficult for you physically, just tell a worker and they will try to help in anyway they can. Accommodations can be made for you. Just enjoy.
I teach the temple prep class and will be using this video to give a very good explanation as to what to expect when they receive their endowments. Very well done !

How I wish this information was available when I first went to the Temple in 1982. We didn’t even have a Temple Preparation class, we were not told anything so had no idea what to expect. It was totally overwhelming (and a bit scary as many things were done differently). I can remember being scared, hesitant, unsure and anxious rather than any positive feelings. The only real part I remember is when my children were brought and sealed to their father and I. Thank you so much for this video.

As many here, I'm also thankful for this easy explained temple preparedness video I feel weird asking members of my ward how to be ready, specially when I got sealed in the temple 32 years ago, but I been diagnosed with PSTD and mayor memories in my life I don't remember it at all ! I been inactive more than 20 years and I'm waiting for my temple recommend . I wish we had this when I went through the temple to get my Endowment back in 1983. Basically I was taught that we would be wearing white, would wear special undergarments thereafter, we would be given a new name and go through the veil. I was so NOT prepared for what happened in the ceremony. And we weren't allowed to talk about any of it. So for me my Temple Experience wasn't really a good one. I'm glad that things have changed, and people say that it is a much more enjoyable experience.

Well done and very clearly explained. I would only make one comment. The endowment of power is given when you receive your endowment. True, you need to keep your sacred covenants and be worthy to use that power, but you have received that power. That is the whole point of the "presentation of the endowment". If you are faithful, both men and women have access to that power, and can call upon that power to assist them in the difficulties of mortality.

I love the serenity and the peaceful atmosphere inside the temple, especially when I am in the Celestial room, that’s when I receive revelations and answers to my prayers from Heavenly Father. I missed going for two months due to covid/lockdown our temple is closed atm. I know I will be going back again, my goal is to go every month since I don’t live close to the temple.

Thanks for doing this video. My husband is preparing to receive his Endowments. He has to get his Melchizedek Priesthood first. Then, we can be sealed as husband and wife for all eternity. I wish this video was out when I got mine in the late 90's.
I get to go to the Temple for my first time Feb 5 2022 it has taken me 12 years and I'm finally there then on feb 12 me and my wife and 2 small boys will be sealed I cannot believe it is here I'm not nervous at all I just want to take it all in

Thanks for doing this video. My husband is preparing to receive his Endowments. He has to get his Melchizedek Priesthood first. Then, we can be sealed as husband and wife for all eternity. I wish this video was out when I got mine in the late 90's.

I get to go to the Temple for my first time Feb 5 2022 it has taken me 12 years and I'm finally there then on feb 12 me and my wife and 2 small boys will be sealed I cannot believe it is here I'm not nervous at all I just want to take it all in

Awesome Video ... wish this was around when I received my endowments... Would like to see a video explaining in detail the symbolisms and scriptural references. Also telling of the marvelous manifestations that the early Saints witness when Joseph Smith presented the first Temples in this Latter Dispensation.
