Thank you for this video! I was blessed to have Brother Jacobs as my Institute teacher years ago and what a privilege it is to hear his message today! He is truly an inspired teacher, who, through his quotes and testimony, brings a greater insight to the truths of the gospel. He has such a love for those he teaches. He truly teaches with the Spirit and a love for Christ. I now have a deeper appreciation of the beauty of the Resurrection and what a blessing it is that Christ provided a way for us to all live again. This was truly the most hopeful and awesome lesson I’ve learned about the mercy of Heavenly Father in blessing all his children with the gift of resurrection! The thought of “Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy.” comes to mind when listening to this lesson on resurrection. That was amazing! As a lifelong student of the gospel, I thought the questions would be a piece of cake - I only got three out of five. How gratifying it will be to see my husband grow a new leg, then get up out of his bed to walk!

This lesson got me thinking deeper into my own mortality. Thank you brother Jacobs for the many scriptures and talks of our leaders that are so cleared about the resurrection and the after life. Definitely the example of the lady on her 80's having a deceased husband's dead at a younger age was a good example to think about.

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ my whole life. Even though I have gone through seminary and institute and taken several religious classes, I cannot tell you how much I learned from this lesson! It was clear and simple, but so insightful and thought-provoking. I wasn’t confused by the facts because they were backed by scriptures and words of prophets and apostles. Wow, this was powerful! I love how simple and easy to understand the basic concepts are as well as in depth doctrine with quotes from previous prophets. Really great questions as well as the explanations using all of the scriptures. I like how doctrines that are specific to latter day saints are compared to the rest of Christianity showing the blessings of additional light and knowledge. Great stories and testimony at the end, really learned a lot and felt the spirit. Definitely coming back for more.

My youngest adult child died unexpectedly this year 2023 in May and even though I am a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, for many years, I never gave myself an opportunity to study in depth about resurrection.
After my son’s death I felt prompted to study about Spiritual World and Resurrection not only to find comfort in my grieving but to learn more what would be expected from me on the other side of the veil.
Please, bring more instructions and lessons about this because I found a quote from Joseph Smith saying that we, as letter day saints, have a obligation to study these subjects.
Thank you for these wonderful and comforting words of hope in the midst of my pain.
